THE KING
~Third person~

The Lockwood palace was frantic. Every guard, every maid, every butler, and even their very own princess was on the lookout for the king. The king was missing.

No one had heard nor seen the ruler. More guards entered the palace earning orders from the princess of Lockwood palace and they all did well with the orders.

"I need him found immediately, he could've been kidnapped for all we know? What is wrong with all of you? How do you lose your king?!" Princess Lockwood screams at her people who stand soldier-like, bowing their heads in shame at how they could've slipped let him slip from their sights.

Ugene stands amongst the others, containing a smile and hiding it well when princess Lockwood hits him with a powerful gaze that could make anyone fold.

He bows when she walks up to him, and she points in his face. "You're his right hand man, did you see anything?"

"No, your majesty. I was not around him during the time of his disappearance, I'm terribly sorry," he says, lying to his very own used to be queen. He keeps chanting that everything will be okay and to trust the king but he's freaking out on the inside.

"I should have all of you beheaded!" She screams. She walks further down the hall and the guards walk along with her, afraid she would end up missing as well.

"What is going on, your majesty?" The ruler of India questions and he's looking around confused and concerned at all the ruckus.

Princess Lockwood breathes out. "The king is missing. No panic, let me do the panicking. Once I find him we can continue the discussion of the wedding between the two."

"The king is missing? Can I do anything to help?"

"Keep an eye out, please. This is my son," her voice breaks when speaking to him, letting down her guard but she didn't care, her son was missing, the only thing she had in this world she loved.

She then points at Ugene again, waving him over. "Ugene, did he say anything about leaving the palace?"

"Was he afraid someone was after him?" The ruler of India further questions, earning a nod from the princess.

Ugene coughs a little, shaking his head. "I'm afraid not, your majesty. He did not speak of any such."

"You were close with him, how could he not?" The princess scoffs.

"I am just his-"

"Right hand man, yes I know," she interrupts. "You know of something or someone in this palace knows."

Ugene is silent, standing like a soldier as she gawks at him, trying to read any lies he could be passing on in his facial expressions.

~ Jaxson's pov ~

The village was much larger than I expected when approaching. I took off my nice clothes, knowing the people would stare and know something was off with the way I looked. I chose a white loose button up, folding one side into my black pants and the other is loose on my side to look the part.

I knew by now the palace was going insane looking for me. Sooner or later, they would start searching the village and announcing to the people that their own king was missing.
