Leonardo's Pov 
''What?!''  ''No don't think I haven't seen the change ever since you said you gave up on love,'' he said. ''Please don't start not today,'' I warned him. ''Don't come and fool me Leonardo!!! And stop lieying to yourself you love Madelyn and that's it! And Madelyn does the same for you...you heard her yesterday!'' Santiago protested. ''Santiago please! I told you not today!!! And I have alot of work please leave!''  Banging my door at him I thought I left him outside the door only to see him infront of me in my office. ''Never gonna leave haha! We need to talk!'' I rolled my eyes. I never had the energy to force Santiago to get out. This guy won't get out till this is solved!
''Alright sit!'' I was now pissed than ever. ''What do you want?'' I asked him.  ''I think we both know what we want,'' No comment. ''What happened between you two yesterday? Let's just start there,'' he said. ''What happened? What would happen? Why do you want to know so much there's nothing special that will ever happen between Madelyn and I. I stand by my word!!! So why do you care?'' I asked him. ''Cause I'm your bestie Leonardo. I'm always by your side. I know when my friend is not okay,'' he sighed. ''Talk to me bro talk to me.'' 
Was there any way from escaping from this? He left me with no choice I honestly didn't care. ''She doesn't love me just like the others,'' I finally bursted out. Santiago got shocked for a minute. A moment of silence...
''But you love her?'' he finally asked. I sighed. All energy of denying was gone. I felt I couldn't lie anymore. ''Perhaps I do. But who cares? Madelyn is just playing games with me!'' I exclaimed. ''Hey hey it's not like that calm down man,'' he held my hand, ''We don't know that. And honestly I feel like I can trust Madelyn and yes before you say it I know of our past chaotic relationships we've been through but...as I met Valentina I realised and learned that many are bad and horrible and betray us but there are a few who are still good so if you can see someone who you think might be different try to give a chance before you lose it.'' 
As always Santiago was my mentor. A friend but also a mentor. But could I really trust Madelyn? ''Hmm maybe that's Valentina for you as for  Madelyn I don't think she loves me. She's just playing with my feelings!'' I let out my anger. ''What happened exactly? Tell me from the beginning.'' Didn't know if he wanted me to tell him only about last night or ever since that incident. Knowing Santiago so well I started from our swimming incident. 
''Wait so last night you kissed her?!''  ''Please shut up I didn't know what I was doing!!!'' I told him. ''Don't be ashamed man. So she kissed you back?'' he asked me for the hundredth time. ''Yes!'' I answered. ''Wow how was she?'' he asked. ''Well to be honest she's not a professional but she's pretty good. I think she has watched a ton of movies,'' I said to him. ''Wow so this is her first time? Umm wow. Hey I think both of you are in love.'' I gave him the side eye. ''No no no it's true. She's just worried that she's a maid that's why,'' said Santiago. ''What? Madelyn?!'' I never imagined that a girl like her would ever be scared or even be put down. ''Yes. I know! You are shocked! And so am I but...standing up for herself so that people can know she knows who she is so they cannot underlook her is far different than her being with a billionaire in her position,'' said Santiago. ''Hmm...'' now that made more sense.
''But don't worry if you really love her I can talk to her. Let's try this...'' I first denied. A million times! As if he would give me a choice I knew  Santiago would not give me a choice till I make the move. So I let him be. 
Santiago's Pov 
I waited patiently for Madelyn at the restaurant. She said she would come but looking at my watch she was already late! And who knows?  If she would really come? So I waited a little while longer. Still no sign of her. As I was about to leave I saw a girl with a cute flawless black dress  enter the restaurant. Now I know why Leo admires her. The girl has natural flawless beauty.  As she walked in all eyes stated at her. She sat opposite me, I think she noticed I was about to leave. "Am I late? Why are you leaving so fast?"   she asked. "I saw you were not showing up wasn't sure if you would really come," I replied. She let out a cute laugh.  "I'm so sorry I'm late but usually when I make a promise  I always make sure to fulfill," she said. She sat opposite me. After a little chat we went back to serious business.  But I should have known, as we were talking eyes were staring at us. This was not the place.  Now not only do we not to avoid journalists but some fans wanna act like journalists.
