A couple weeks passed and life actually seemed good for once, something very new to Blythe and even her three partners who weren't used to having someone who they looked forward to seeing.
But of course, life couldn't always be good.
Blythe was getting ready for the day, humming a tune that she was hearing in her head as she brushed her hair when her phone buzzed. At first she ignored it, but then it buzzed again and when she looked down at the notification she saw a new number with a photo attached message.
She stopped humming and put her hairbrush down and tapped on the notification, only to be surprised by what it was.
Riley was almost unrecognizable as his face appeared on the screen all bloody and bruised. Half of his face was swollen bad making Blythe's heart drop when she saw the message.
'Want him come to (insert random address that I'm too lazy to make up)'
Blythe frowned as she once again stared at the picture. There was no possible way that it could be fake, but still she wanted to check so she pulled up Riley's number and called it.
At first it rang all the way so she tried once more and it picked up.
"Riley?"
"It's cute how you though I was lying." The all too familiar voice of Alonzo Valentino sounded through the speaker.
"Fuck you. I'll be there." Blythe hung up the phone and rushed out of the bathroom and into her bedroom. She reached under her bed to grab her gun that was hooked under her mattress and checked that it was loaded. She shoved a couple extra bullets in her pocket before running down stairs.
Nobody was home meaning it was easy for Blythe to leave and not get stopped but still she sent Radley a message so they knew where she was.
'Going to kill Alonzo, be back soon x '
She texted before hopping into one of Radley's many cars and driving to the location that Alonzo had sent. As she approached the house, she had only just realized how underprepared she was for this battle that she was sure was going to happen. She highly doubted that Alonzo was alone so it would be just her against an army of men that could easily take her down, if they could catch her.
Blythe was a trained assassin, getting in and out of placed without getting caught was her specialty.
The house obviously wasn't Alonzo's as there was no security whatsoever. No cameras, nothing. So it was easy for her to walk up to the house and pretend like she wasn't actually there.
She searched for Riley in the windows, but majority of them were black out on the bottom floor.
As she got closer to the back yard she could hear talking, so she peered around the corner with her fingers crossed hoping that the man wasn't facing her way and she was glad to find that the man was alone and speaking on the phone.
Blythe kicked a stone to try and get the man's attention and after many failed attempts he hung up the phone to investigate.
As soon as the man turned the corner, she moved. She wrapped her arms around the man's neck and kicked his legs so he collapsed to the ground before reaching for the knife that was sticking out of his waistband and plunging it in his neck. She covered his mouth as choked on his blood before eventually he stopped.
Blythe checked his body for any other weapons and found another blade for her to use so she shoved it in the strap of her bra so she could easily reach for it. Another thing she found was pistol with a silencer on it, which would save her the effort of constantly having to stab people to death.
