--Final Scene--

                                    

                                          
Maya woke up to having a tube coming out of her mouth. The sensation was very uncomfortable for the young girl. She started to panic. Her vision was very blurry due to her only waking up. 
Maya had no idea where she was. The sound of the heart monitor beeping became quicker and quicker. 
At the sound of this Chad woke up in a panic. He looked toward Maya to see that she was awake. He couldn't help but smile at his girlfriend. However, that smile quickly faded when he saw the girl's fear.
"Hey hey. You're okay. You are in the hospital. Maya, you're okay." Chad put his hand on the girl's head trying to calm her down. 
At the words of her boyfriend, she looked around at the familiar people starting to wake up. She started to calm down. 
The doctor entered the room to see Maya awake. 
"Ahh Maya it's good to see you awake." He looked at the girl who still had a tube coming out of her mouth. 
"Let's get that out shall we." The doctor said moving everyone out of the way to get the tube out. Chad refused to move. He refused to leave her side. 
Maya coughed for a while after taking out the tube. But after a while she was ok.
The doctor decided to leave the group to talk about the events that took place but as he left the only thing that filled the room was complete silence. 
"It was Amber. Amber killed my mom. She killed my friends. She killed my best friend. She ruined my fucking life." Maya said a tear streaming down her face. 
Chad wiped it away as he spoke up. "I know, I know baby, but she's gone. She can't hurt you anymore." 
"Maya you're a badass. I heard you set Amber on fire. That's fucking awesome!" Mindy spoke up. 
"Not the time Mindy," Chad said looking over at his sister. 
Maya giggled. "No, no she's right. I was a badass." 
"I'm so glad you're alive." Gale spoke up. 
"Hey. I always keep my promises." Maya replied causing Gale to smile at the girl.

It had been over a week since the events that took place that night. Maya was finally released from the hospital and was staying in the Meeks household. 
Maya was laying on Chad's bed. A lot of her time had been taken up by reading. It was a way for Maya to forget about the torture she had gone through. 
As she turned the page of her novel there was a knock at the door. 
"Hey, beautiful," Chad said walking in. 
"Chad, once again, you do know this is your room. You don't have to knock." Maya laughed. 
"I know I know. Listen the gang are meeting up here for a movie night... Are you up for that?" He asks sitting at the edge of the bed. 
"Yeah totally. I've been stuck in this room on bed rest. I need some human interaction or I will explode." Maya says sitting up but still wincing at the injuries. 
"Ok ok be careful. I'll meet you downstairs. I'm just going to run to the store for snacks." Chad said giving Maya a peck on the cheek. 
"Ohhhhhhh get me Cheetos! Pretty please." Maya looked at Chad with a pout on her face. 
"Anything for you my gaurdian angel," Chad said as he left the room. 
Maya had been through a lot. The only times she was allowed to leave the hospital in the last week were for the funerals of all the loved ones she had lost.
However, she couldn't help but smile. She was finally safe. Nobody could hurt her any more than she was.

Maya cleaned herself up and made her was downstairs to see Chad, Mindy, Sam and Tara all on the couch. 
"Heyyyy I saved you a spot," Chad said. Maya made her way over to him. 
Within seconds she was cuddled up on his shoulder eating Cheetos. 
"So what are we gonna watch," Mindy asked. 
"Oh! What about I know what you did last summer?" Maya suggested. 
The whole group turn toward her and all in sync they reply.
"No!" 
Maya held her hands up in defense. 
"Alright alright it was just a suggestion." 
The group had settled on a comedy. They experienced enough horror for a while. 
Everything was over........
