I woke up slowly feeling short nails rub up and down my neck and the tv playing lowly
Turing over causing Jai to jump and look down at me "did I wake you up i'm-"
"you good" I laid my head on her lap closing my eyes
"what's time is it?"
"11:22" she responded and starting rubbing my neck again
It soothed me, felt like a damn baby
"when you wake up?"
she shrugged "forgot"
Something was wrong with her and I could tell, usually went I slept with her she would sleep almost half the day but no she's waking up early, she's responding with short responses like a child. That nigga did something to her and she's not telling me what, I don't wanna force her to tell me so I'll leave it alone until she tells me on her own
"you ok?"
"no...but I will be"
"alr, what you gotta do today?"
"I need to go tell my mom and dad what happened, i'm meeting them around 2:30 at my mom's"
"you want me to drop you off?"
"yea but stay please...if your not busy or nothin"
"na ion got nun going on"
"okay, you'll stay?"
"I'll stay"
"ok" her voice changed a little sounded like she was happy
A few hours later we got out of bed and got ready so we wouldn't be late to meet up with her parents, I threw on a jumpsuit Jai made me a couple months ago. I always wanted to wear it but never found the time too, it's was gloomy outside so I threw it on with my black Yeezy slides
"Jai?" I called out before I walked in the room
I heard a sniffle and small footsteps come to the door before it opened, there was Jai with her hair in a high top ponytail and a hoodie that she made paired with grey leggings. I furrows my eyebrows seeing she had been crying
"what's going on"
"I s-seen him Jour in there, he said he's coming"
"In we're ma?" I grabbed her hand feeling it was shaking I pulled her to me softly hugging her
"t-the closet"
"nobody is here but me and you, alright?" I said lifting her face gently with my finger "I'm not gon let him near you Jai'Lynn"
She took a deep breath and blinked a few times "o-ok"
I wiped tears that escaped her eyes and looked at her outfit "put ya shoes on so we can get going"
