Annabelle grabbed the gloved hand of the chauffeur, stepping out of the car. She adjusted her dress looking up smiling lightly standing in front of her home. Annabelle thanked the driver before approaching the front door.

She took a deep breath, she'll be entering her home without her father. She'll be living in this home without her father. She'll walk into his office knowing he'll never step foot in it again.

"Annabelle! Hurry up, we need to get going!" Thomas yelled from the bottom of stairs.

"Cynthia dear, can you go get this stubborn girl" Thomas added sighing turning towards the maid. The blonde nodded and climbed up the stairs.

"Leaving so soon?" Thomas heard his wife from
Behind him. He looked over at her, a small smile on his face.

"I wish you would join darling" Thomas said going up to his wife. She ran her hands up his chest to his shoulders.

"I've been on plenty ships with you before dear" Elizabeth chuckled, Thomas hands finding their way to her waist.

"But this ship is not like the others. Titanic will be historical" he said.

"Which is why you are taking Annabelle, she'll love it." Elizabeth replied.

"Father, I'm ready" Annabelle said coming down the stairs with Cynthia next to her seeing her mother and father. The two girls glanced at each other smiling.

"Are you two moping over being apart again?" The young girl asked causing the parents to chuckle.

"Maybe a little" Thomas replied letting go of his wife. Elizabeth opened her arms slightly for her daughter. Annabelle smiled before engulfing her mother in a hug.

"I'll miss you so much sweetheart. Be good and be safe" the mother whispered kissing her daughters head.

"You know I will"

"Come back to me Annabelle Marie"

"I'm back mama" Annabelle whispered before slowly turning the doorknob walking into her home. She shut the door smiling at the familiar place. Everything looked the same.

"Miss Andrews, it's lovely to see you back!" Lauren, one of the maids said.

"Hi Lauren., is mother home?" Annabelle asked walking further into the home looking around.

"Sweetheart"

Annabelle turned around and saw her mother. The young girl smiled lightly staring at her mother. Her mother opened her arms slightly, a habit she always did to her daughter. Annabelle felt tears prick her eyes as she ran into her mothers arm.

"I came back mama" Annabelle whispered as her vision got blurry from the tears.

"You did. You survived, I'm proud of you" Elizabeth replied. Annabelle smile turned into a small frown.

"I couldn't save daddy" Annabelle softly said, the tears spilling over her face.(again, that word is not meant to be sexualized =\ )

"Baby" Elizabeth started to say but the daughter cut her off.

"I-I couldn't help him. He wouldn't let me. I left him" Annabelle cried out and Elizabeth tightened the hug.

"You didn't leave him dear.. he protected you, he loved you and he saved you. He gave up his life to make sure you lived" Elizabeth whispered laying her head on top of her daughters head.

"I wish he was here"

"I know darling, we have to keep his legacy alive" Elizabeth said pulling away from the hug, cupping her daughters cheeks wiping away her tears. The older woman smiled lightly.
