bound - chapter two

⌞                                                              ⌟

Sweat dripped down the side of the Inarizaki volleyball team as the sound of their shoes squeaking rang through the gym. Even though it was just a simple practice match against their own teammates, they felt the need to go 100%- no 120%.

Just to prove their worth.

"Samu!" Atsumu called out to his brother, his hands automatically setting the ball perfectly into his twin's palms. The sound of the ball hitting the floor on the other side of the court brought a large grin to their side as a loud whistle was heard.

Their hands instantly collided as they high-fived each other, not minding the exhaustion that lurked right around the corner. They had finally won the second set.

Osamu grinned at his twin, their smiles mirroring each other as pride filled them.

"That final set could've been a bit higher, but we won so it's fine." The male didn't even notice how much he exerted himself as he continued talking to his brother, "Do you think [y/n]- woah!"

His feet gave up on him as his heel leaned over, making him lose balance as he didn't have the strength to stay upright.

Just as he thought he was going to hit the floor, he collided with a broad chest, the arms wrapped around him to support his weight.

"?"

Osamu looked up at his savior, shock appearing over his face as [y/n] devilishly grinned in front of him.

"Maa~ What's up with you and your brother bumping into me?"

[y/n]'s hair perfectly framed his face as his [e/c] eyes met his so effortlessly. The grey-haired twin couldn't help but stare at the male's attractive face, even when the male raised his eyebrow at his long stare.

"Oh?" [y/n] tugged Osamu even closer, not minding the sweaty clothes as he tilted the male's chin up, "Have you fallen for me already?"

"Huh?"

Osamu realized their close proximity and pushed the male away as scoffed, fanning his shirt as he looked away.

"Liking you? Please, I'd rather fall off the face of the Earth."

As the male turned to walk away, his wrist was grabbed as he was pulled into [y/n]'s chest once again. A confused expression rested on the spiker's face as he looked up at his senior. The third-year just smirked at him as he leaned down, whispering a few words into the male's ears.

"!!"

Osamu pulled his wrist away as he looked at his upperclassmen with an unreadable expression. Rubbing his wrists softly, he turned around once again but not without muttering a soft thank you.

Blinking slowly, [y/n] scratched the back of his head as he watched the volleyball player scurry away. Unknowingly, a soft smile made its way on his face as he saw the blush that rested on the back of his neck.

'How cute...'

However, he couldn't think like that for long as his Atsumu radar went off, promptly moving to the side as the male failed to jump on him.

"Ack!"

He watched as the blond twin rolled a couple of times on the ground, a pissed expression appearing on his face when he got back up.

"Do you got eyes in the back of your head or something? What kind of person dodges like that so quickly?!"

[y/n] only chuckled at his outburst as the setter blushed in embarrassment. Atsumu bit his lip as he reluctantly moved closer, his eyes looking everywhere but [y/n].

"?" [y/n] felt his lip quirk up as he imagined fox ears and a wagging tail on the male and unconsciously stifled a small laugh. With a smile, [y/n] wrapped his arm around his waist as he pulled him closer.

His hand automatically went to ruffle his hair, but he stopped a bit before he could do so. Dropping his hand, he moved to tug on the collar that the male was still wearing.

"You did good, Atsumu."

Looking up at him, the blond male found himself satisfied with his words before realizing what he just thought. Quickly pushing him away, Atsumu pointed a finger at [y/n] with a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Hah! I don't need your praise!" As he stomped away, [y/n] still couldn't get rid of the imaginary fox features.

Especially that happily wagging tail.

The sun was beginning to set as the club finished cleaning up, saying their goodbyes and shouts of good work as the gym doors closed for the day.

Everyone had left already, the only people remaining were the volleyball captain and their photographer.

"Hm? What's with the tense expression Kita~" [y/n]'s hands pinching the male's cheeks as the latter looked at him with an unknown expression, "?"

As he stopped, Kita placed his hand on top of [y/n]'s, his face leaning into the male's cold palm.

"...Tell me it too."

[y/n] was momentarily taken back from the raw emotion in Kita's eyes.

It was such a strong emotion. Pleading him to praise him as he did to the others, making his mind go crazy as all he thought was to make him submit to him and him only.

'Ah...' [y/n] felt a smirk rise on his face as he leaned down, their lips connecting as their saliva mixed with one another.

As they separated, Kita looked at [y/n] with a flushed expression, panting softly as their eyes connected once again.

"Good job today Kita, my lovely fox." With a small head pat, [y/n] started walking away, yet his pace was slower compared to his usual walk.

Still stuck in his stupor, Kita didn't even notice him stopping as he looked back at him.

"Well? Are you coming?"

Kita snapped out of it and nodded, running slightly as he closed the distance between them, their hands nearly touching as they walked together.

"So, are you staying?"

Whether it was the soft glow of the sun setting or just the overall appeal, Kita couldn't help but have his eyes on [y/n] only. Everything about him entranced the captain, trapping him till the point of no return.

Even if it hurt him.

"Well..." [y/n] thought back to a certain set of twins, a fond smile on his face as he fiddled with his bag strap, "I have no choice but to. Some foxes are being disobedient."

The world seemed to slow as [y/n] turned to look at Kita, an all too familiar gleam in his eyes as he grinned.

"Don't you agree?"
