it had been a whole ass year and tooda got kori pregnant , we found out kori was friends with trinity and they soon stopped being friends .
" cmere tt baby " i said bending down to pick up mari
" tt " he said hitting my chest lightly
i took him in the kitchen so i could get him a couple snacks
i sat him down on the island counter while i walked over to the pantry getting him a rice crispy and a bag of chips
i got his snacks before picking him up again and walking to the living room where kori was
me and kori weren't friends we were more like acquaintances , i only dealt with her when it came to mari and that was it .
" thank you " kori said
" for what ?" i asked her confused
" for being in his life even though me and you aren't friends anymore " she said
" this my only nephew imma always be there , plus i'm glad he got you pregnant other than getting lani pregnant " i said laughing a little bit
" door " mari said pointing at the door on monsters inc.
" yeah what color door is it ?" kori asked
" blue " he replied smiling
" nooo it's white silly " she said giggling
" he so smart " i said as he turned back to the tv
" yeah he is , he follow after his damn deddy too much though " she said

just then mir and tooda walked in with some mcdonald's

" cmon mari i gotchu some food " tooda said picking up mari
we all walked to the kitchen as tooda sat mari on the counter standing between him
" this his food right here ?" kori asked taking out a happy meal
" mhm " tooda said
kori opened up the happy meal grabbing out mari's fries and chicken nuggets
" da " mari said hitting tooda
" ight i'm getting yo food na " tooda said laughing
" that's his first word ?" i asked tooda smiling
" yeah he been saying that shit " tooda said handing mari a fry
" shit " mari repeated
" don't say that , whichu yo bad ass " kori said as tooda laughed
" ass " mari repeated making us laughing
" i'm done with him " i said laughing
" can i get a fry ?" i asked mari before taking one
" damn can i say no ?" he asked me

" ight den sevyn , i'm finna drop them off and go to bed " tooda said looking at his phone
" alright then , i love you guys be safe " i said hugging him
he hugged me back before picking up mari and walking to the living room , kori followed behind him collecting maris things before they left .
" i love mari but he's a reminder to use protection and pop them plan b's " i told mir making him laugh
" man , that lil nigga bad " mir said as i got up
" i'm finna go take a nap , i been watching him alllll day " i dragged as i walked through the house and up the stairs
" ight imma come lay down whichchu " he said as he walked down the stairs behind me

i woke up around 10 o'clock to a dark room
i checked my phone seeing it was almost 11 , i looked around seeing mir wasn't in the bed with me
i grabbed my phone to call him while i got up turning the light on
i called him twice but he didn't answer which made me confused and concerned
i decided to try and call tooda next to see if they were with each other
" wassup bean head " tooda said laughing
" hey shrimp dick , where's mir " i said getting irritated
" shi ion know " he said
" you haven't talked to him at all ?" i asked him
" hell nah " he said making me shake my head
" okay thank you " i said before i hung up
i walked downstairs and to the garage to see if his car was in there and it wasn't
" what the fuck bruh " i said to myself as i stood in the garage confused
i tried to call him again but he just wouldn't answer
" za'mir bruh " i said feeling the tears coming down my face
i walked back in the house and into the living room
just then i got a random call ..?
" hello is this sevyn davis ?" the person on the other end asked
" yes why ?" i asked
" your boyfriend is in critical condition , he got into a car accident resulting to him being -" she said before i cut her off
" where is he " i said getting up and grabbing my keys
" he is here at the AHMC " she said before i hung up the phone racing to the garage .
