Chapter 30: Eternal Love
A Poem to Eternity
In the hush of twilight's fading breath,
Where shadows gather, marking time's death,
Two souls entwined, their fates align,
Beyond the edge where mortal stars cease to shine.
Through the veil of night, we find our way,
Guided by the whispers of a love that cannot stray.
In the silence where the living dare not tread,
We walk together, where angels fear to be led.
Oh, how the winds of fate have carried us so far,
Through the darkest nights, where no guiding star.
But in your arms, I’ve found my peace,
A love that grants my soul its long-sought release.
No more the chains of earthly woe,
No more the pain that only the living know.
In death’s sweet embrace, we finally see,
The boundless depths of love’s decree.
With every step, we leave behind,
The echoes of a world unkind.
And in its place, a garden blooms,
A paradise beyond the tombs.
There, in fields of endless light,
We shall dance through eternal night.
Where the moon forever keeps its glow,
And time itself forgets to flow.
In the halls where death holds reign,
We’ve shed the weight of human pain.
Here, love is pure, untouched by fear,
A sacred bond, forever near.
Hold me close, my eternal guide,
Through the realms where the living hide.
For in your eyes, I see the dawn,
Of a love that will never be gone.
Together we shall walk the skies,
Where endless stars meet endless sighs.
In your arms, I find my rest,
In this eternal love, we are truly blessed.
So as the sun sets on our final day,
We let the light gently fade away.
For in the dark, we find our light,
A beacon in the endless night.
No more farewells, no more goodbyes,
Just endless love beneath the eternal skies.
For even death cannot divide,
The love that in our hearts resides.
In this place where time stands still,
Our love will rise, our hearts fulfil.
An endless tale, a song unsung,
In the eternal light, forever young.
So take my hand, my love, my life,
Together we transcend all mortal strife.
In the garden where the soul finds peace,
Our love shall flourish, never to cease.
For in death, as in life, we are one,
Two souls united, our journey began.
Through the gates of eternity, we’ve found our home,
In the arms of forever, we shall roam.
And when the world forgets our name,
Our love will burn, a timeless flame.
In the stars, in the night, in the endless skies,
Our love, eternal, never dies.
