Tommy and Clementine continued working through the paperwork, not giving the paper about execution any more attention. Soon the lunch bell rang, and the pair lifted their attention from the paperwork. Tommy looked at the clock and realised how much time they had spent on work. Four hours. Tommy looked at Clementine.

"Clem, should we get lunch or continue working?" Tommy asked and Clementine thought about it, making the pen floating in the air spin. "I do not require food, but it would be most suitable for you if you eat." They said, and to prove their point, Tommy got a text from Purpled.

"Come get lunch with me, I'm lonely." Purpled sent. Tommy debated it inside his head and then snickered while sending him a message. "No, go cry about it, L," Tommy said and Clementine laughed with Tommy.

"Seriously though, we should get lunch," Clementine said and Tommy nodded with a laugh. He got up and stretched, letting a small yawn escape him. He looked at Clementine and opened his shirt pocket. Clementine got the message, shrunk, and flew into Tommy's pocket.

"Hah- Stop moving, it tickles!" Tommy said, laughing as Clementine tried to find a spot in his pocket. "It is not my blame I can not find a proper spot!" Clementine said with a laugh. Tommy thought about it, then grabbed a clean tissue from the tissue box on his desk. He ripped a large piece off and opened his pocket.

"Hey, get out for a second," Tommy said and Clementine did so, but Tommy knew they were confused as they grew to their normal size. "What are you-" They started, and then Tommy stuffed the tissue into his pocket, making a soft bed for Clementine.

"I- Tommy-" Clementine said, shaking slightly. Tommy looked at them and grinned. "Now that should be more comfortable, shouldn't it?" He said and Clementine let out a muffled noise and rushed towards Tommy, tackling him to the ground. Tommy smiled and hugged Clementine back, rubbing his hand up and down their handle, trying to comfort them.

"Y-You- I do not even r-require to feel comfortable to be i-in an exceptional state, yet you care t-this much for me?" They said and Tommy smiled, trying to comfort the shaking axe. "Of course, I do, Clem. To me, you're not just some magical axe, you're my friend." He said, still rubbing their handle. Clementine let out a choked sob and worry painted Tommy's face. "W-Wait, I didn't offend you or anything, right? If I did something, I'm so sor-" Clementine cut him off with a shaky laugh.

"Oh no, Tommy. You never offended me. These are not tears of sadness, these tears are caused because you showed me so much love... It has been so long since I have felt affection from one of my owners. I am very touched by your display of love and affection." They said shakily with another laugh. Tommy relaxed, knowing he hadn't hurt Clementine. He gently pet his friend and opened his shirt pocket with a smile. "Come on, Clementine." He said, gently petting Clementine's handle.

"Let's go eat lunch."
