The start of Winter. It signaled that there were only four more months until Zamasu was to return back to his own universe.
As it was snowing heavily outside, he decided that residing in the privacy of your room with a book was much better than lowering his standards to participate in a random snowball fight.
Though, hearing the rather rabid screams of the tinier mortals was slightly prompting his curiosity. Surely they couldn't be happy about dying out in the frigid cold? Then again, the way they had practically forced you out into the frozen mounds of water told him that it was a rather enjoyable experience.
For them, at least.
Scoffing quietly under his breath, he continued reading the book in his possession, but it was becoming less and less easy to focus on the words when the house would slightly shake or the screaming occurred.
Soon enough, his curiosity got the better of him and he dared to take a peek out of the window.
And it was a cursed blessing to do so.
You were currently pelting the majority of the younger tykes outside with multiple snowballs, dodging and weaving their own onslaught as best you could. It didn't seem quite fair, as it was a three on one, but you were also dancing around their shots with ease.
Until Goku used instant transmission and appeared behind you, covering you with a large amount of the snow.
You shrieked a bit from the frigid cold, before whipping around to face the Saiyan who was bent over laughing. Even if your glaring didn't stop him from giving a goofy grin, you making a rather perfect snowball made the Saiyan back up.
Zamasu let out a slightly irritated growl at the sight of you having fun with him, but he had to calm himself down.
You were stuck knowing these mortals for an entire decade. He had nearly lost his mind already and it hadn't even been a full year yet!
"Goku, don't you dare!!"
This snapped his head back towards the outside world, and this time he couldn't help the anger that took over.
Yes, you were still having fun and laughing even.
But Goku was overstepping by having his arms around you and basically tossing you and himself into a large pile of the white cold powder.
Had it not been for those children also joining in on the dogpiling of snow, he wouldn't hesitate to kill that insufferable mortal-
The unholy yet stern screaming of Chi-Chi yelling at Goku and Goten for playing too much in the snow (only after Goku seemed to be having much more fun with you) cuts into Zamasu's divinely heinous thoughts of sanitizing the earth of mortals, making him sigh heavily.
This place was much too loud.
****
You come in after Chi-Chi basically ruins the fun for everyone, slightly sopping wet from the snow having melted from your body temperature. But, you loved natural phenomena, even if it was frigid.
Stepping into your room, Zamasu gives you a look over for a moment before going back to his book, laying comfortably on your bed with one leg crossed over the other. "Did you have fun partaking in such a primitive activity?"
You could hear the slight edge of annoyance in his tone, closing and locking your door behind you carefully. "Well, if you had joined in on the fun, you would have been more lenient on hating the activity." You hum, going over to him with your hands on your hips. "I saw you watching us, you know. You looked like you wanted to kill Goku even worse than usual when he pulled that stunt."
