Chapter 3 - Making up for it?

                                    

                                          
When I walked out, Zach came up to me. "What was your high school GPA?," "4'8." I said. "What do you major in?" "Food science," "Oh okay, I take culinary arts I was gonna do Food Science but that subjects never really been my thing so I'm just taking an ordinary cooking class," "Nice." I added. Then he really asked something that sparked me. "I just wanna say sorry for lashing out on you earlier, but I feel that it's too late to ask. You wanna study with me at the library during break?" He asked. "Yeah... sure?" I answered. Holy moly.
The day went by pretty quick, however I felt that I needed his number to see where we would meet up because I've already seen the library, and boy, is it huge. I didn't want to force it or overthink that he thinks I like him, I know he was trying to be friendly because I didn't really feel that he had interest in me because I'd already gotten him mad at the bus stop and during the lecture but just really needs help. I decided to get that off of my mind and went to my dorm to do my Calculus III homework. After about 2 hours of studying, my friend Sienna banged on the door and I almost jumped off of my chair.
"Y/N?"
"Yeah?"
"Let me in, girl! I need to speak to you!"
"Alright.."
I opened up the door and she was dressed like she was going to a Michelin Star dinner. "What are you wearing?" I asked her, "There's a party at Martin's home, you should come with us." Behind her was our good friend Salma, and she said "Yeah really, We don't have many friends that come here because they're all in community colleges." I was pretty skeptical about going, because it was literally the first day and I have no idea who these people are. "Who the hell is Martin?" "Are you crazy? Martin is one of the D1 athletes in Basketball AND Football!" Sienna added. I tried telling her that I don't care about Football and Basketball and that Soccer's the only sport I'm really interested in. "Okay but he's pretty damn good at Soccer too," said Salma. "Is he Neymar?" I asked. "Girl... Just get up!!" Sienna and Salma said as they both dragged me off my chair.
"Y/N, the year just started, so I think you can just find a nice outfit to go.."
"I don't even want to go."
"Well excuse ME, there's no choice. You're coming."
"Whatever."
I put on my makeup and my Church dress to get it over with. Sienna goes, "What the hell are you wearing?" I told her I didn't have any other dresses and that I didn't want to come either way, but at this point I couldn't do anything about it. I put on my makeup and walked out, knowing I wasn't gonna stay there for long.
