The Doors closed behind him, placing him silently in the entrance of the Othermart. He held up the list again, reading over the second step. It asked for Candy. Just candy. It seemed to specify Taffy in particular. Sunny wasn't going to question the order. It was a simple task, just demanding he bought the candy before the middle of the day. He even had $70 dollars to spare too! Things were finally looking up for him, even if this was hardly an inconvenience to begin with. Enough of dwelling in his thoughts. He shook his head off and walked past the check-out isles, placing himself within the center of the isles. It felt... smaller than he remembers. Probably because he's 4 years older since then.

Sunny panned his head around, observing the interior of the Mart to grasp where he was and where he should go next. Ahead of him, there were additional stands to buy stuff from. Like the Fish he remembers buying for a Pet Cat, Hamburger meat for Kel's Parents and... bread. He wouldn't forget that odd family with the fixation on baking bread. They made the best bread in Faraway Town, apparently having been doing this in this exact place for generations. He heard once they were immigrants, but from where, they never specified. No one ever pried on it, because hardly anyone cared for their origins. To Faraway Town, they were just your average Christian family who owned a Bakery.

To the far left was a small Pharmacy, to which he knew absolutely little about. Only his parents would go there, to get whatever they needed. Sunny did recall hearing from an Asian girl that her father worked there. But it was very unlikely he would be going in there anytime soon... unless he doesn't get this list finished on time! To the far right was a very colorful Hallway, with a sign basically spelling it out that was the Candy store. Taking a few steps in that direction, memories of the Store owner suddenly resurfaced in his mind... unpleasant memories. It's owner was known to be incredibly short tempered, and had this bizarre tendency to end every sentence with the word 'smiley' two times.

Like his friends, that's all he really knew about her. Most people were too afraid of her to ask too many questions, out of fear of potentially offending her. Sunny knew he'd have to overcome this fear today, thankfully being an incredibly minor fear in comparison to... other things he's afraid of. Taking a deep breath, he made the first steps towards the Candy store. Intentionally taking slow steps. Pushing the door opened, he was practically flashbanged by bright pink colors. The walls were painted Pink and White, creating Hearts all over them with perfect consistency. The isles were... exactly what he expected. Lined with various candies, many of which he didn't recognize by heart. You had to give SOME credit to the Owner, she was a candy connoisseur.

Taking a few steps in, a girl standing in front of the Counter immediately took notice of Sunny entering and went ahead to greet him. "Welcome! We hope our CANDY makes you smile!" Curtsey said with a surprisingly cheery attitude, only to be interrupted at the sound of Miss Candace slamming her hands against the Counter. "For the last time, Curtsey! it's smiley! S M I L E Y!" Candace exclaimed with an intimidating voice, striking fear into Candace and even Sunny; Who instinctively recoiled away from the Counter. "Y-y-y-y-yes, ma'am!" Curtsey stuttered out, hardly regaining her composure as she visibly shook. Sunny wasn't the best at handling situations these, and so he didn't get involved. Taking a few steps towards the Counter, Miss Candace immediately poked her head up.

"Hi-hi! It's me! The happy and cherry Miss Candice! What would you like today? Smiley, smiley!" Miss Candace asked, proving the fact that she ends her speeches with the words smiley. Sunny really couldn't stand her personality and voice, so he'd make this quick. "Taffy." Sunny asked, although he had no idea where the Taffy was stored here. It wouldn't be an issue anyways. "Taffy! Now that's an uncommon choice! Only some people order taffy... those Shoplifting kids Kim and Vance! Smiley Smiley!" Miss Candace went on a personal vent about dealing with those two members of the Hooligans, before walking off to retrieve the Candy. Curtsey remained idly standing there.
