TEN YEARS AFTER THE BATTLE AT TINY MOUNTAIN:
SABRINA'S POV:
"Is that Mommy?" Xander asked when I walked into the main house as he held our daughter, Artemis Sky, to his bare chest. She was such a daddy's girl, even at three months old—she had him wrapped around her little finger. He kissed me passionately, not quick to hand over our daughter at all, "You want Mommy or me?" He asked our infant, nuzzling her ebony hair with his chin.
"Xander Lee.." I teased, as he handed over my youngest little one with a smile on his face.
"Mommy!!! Mommy!!!" I could barely get through that front door or get my daughter before little Dash Moon was doing just that—dashing his way through Sebastian's legs before his father could even catch him, "Mommy! I beat Daddy at race cars!"
"Did you?" I winked at Sebastian who had an uncanny desire to let our son and his mini-me win at almost everything, "Well, maybe you'll be a race car driver when you grow up!" I told him, scooping him up into my arms as Sebastian kissed me on the cheek and took my violin case and my bags that I'd tossed on the floor.
"Look at this..." Quinn said as he moved out of the way of our one year old blondie, Wilder Elijah, "He's almost there..." I watched in awe as my little boy crawled, got up and stumbled, crawling again and pushing himself back up only to walk three steps towards me with his arms wide open, "We've been working on this all day."
"Oh my goodness!" I scooped him up in my other arm as Xander took Stella and Q planted a kiss on my forehead.
"How was your day, darlin'?" He asked me.
I sighed, giving a big kiss to Wilder, "Oh, it was great. I have three new students and they're really good at following instructions—one is already pretty amazing at piano, but the other two will get it."
I hadn't gone to Juliard, but I went to college at Malsum University and pursued music and dramatic literature, with a minor in art. All three I now tutored for—plus writing for the local paper. It helped that I was "queen," but I begged them to treat me equally and they did—even reprimanding me in front of my colleagues one day when I was late. I was actually elated. I even allowed them to call me "Queen Sabrina" if they chose to. Like Xander said, I was their queen and some took comfort in calling me that so I gave in, but I made sure they would see me as their leader and equal.
"I hear you, little princess!" I said as Hudson rounded the corner with a tutu wearing, freckled faced redhead named Bellatrix Luna, "Look at you! What have you and Daddy been up to?" I asked, putting the boys down so they could cause as much chaos as possible.
Hudson smiled and showed me his hands, "She painted my nails."
I laughed, but nodded, "She's going to be such a diva."
Bella hugged me, clinging to my leg as Hudson licked his lips and planted a kiss on mine—and I saw the look in his eyes.
"Hudson, I just had Stella...." I rolled my eyes, blushing and shaking my head.
Xander chuckled, cradling Stella, "He's been ready for baby two! I could have two or three more..Fun making them..."
My eyes widened in horror, "Xander, there are four of you and one of me.."
"Yeah, stay off of her, guys!" Tina came around the corner, smiling at me. I had hired her to help us with the children while all of us were at work. She, Valerie, Tina's mom, Betsy and even her dad, Carlton—helped out, "She's only got one uterus.. Sebastian Gregory...Quinn Nathanial!"
"Why do we get called out?" Q asked, chuckling as he recalled Tina catching he and Sebastian making their way to my room when I was in heat, "Oh, yeah...You weren't supposed to say anything!"
