Buff Helpy's POV:
Watching this brunette kid walk down the hallway, I can't help myself to stick my foot out to trip him, inevitably making him fall knee first into the hard floor, his books flying down the hallway.
He looked up at me to see what had happened, I looked down at him laughing seeing the fear in his eyes as he scrambled to pick his books up and book it to his locker, HAH get it? 'Book it?'.
I adjusted my letterman jacket and looked over at him seeing him hobbling through the halls to his locker then the cafeteria.
"Here comes the guilt train! Choo! Choo!" One of my buds said when he saw me looking at the guy. "What? Guilty? No. I'm fine!-" I defended, they rolled their eyes "Dude, You're a Jock, act like one!" Another said patting my back and walking to the car rider pick-up.
I huffed and walked home..
Once there I threw my bag on the floor of my room and walked to the kitchen, seeing my parents friends over..
'I do not have a good feeling about this-'
I thought to myself as they turned around to look at me. "There's my son! Still wearing that jacket with pride! It's a family heirloom y'know?" My Dad said turning to his guests. "Dad, this thing is way too small for me I look like I'm wearing a jacket for 5 year olds.." I said embarrassed. "No honey, you look great!" My mother said a little tipsy
"You're great grandfather Helpy got that jacket 90 years ago! You treat it with respect so you can pass it on to your children!" My Dad told me sternly.
"Yep. I know."
I walked away, not wanting to get into an argument with him about it again.
Throwing the Jacket in the corner and hopping onto my bed, I laid there looking at the ceiling, wondering if I'll ever move out of this hell hole.
While laying there I thought about the guy I tripped, I did really feel bad for the guy.
I really need better friends.. Ones that don't blackmail me into messing with people inferior to me- I'll put that on my to-do list...
'I should really apologize to that dude..'
His books went FAR down the hallway.
I got up and looked at the jacket in the corner glad the feeling of it suffocating me was gone
and started looking for a way to get out of this house.. I mean I could go to a party?
One of the guys is throwing one tonight.
Why not.
I walked downstairs carefully opening the door, and- "where do you think you're going?" I heard from a voice behind me.. "It's just a party dad. I'll be back before 12.."
"You better be. You know what happened last time." He threatened"I know. I'm leaving now." I said stealing his car keys and driving to the party.
...
After parking the car in a place it wouldn't be smashed by drunk rich kids I walked up to the front door seeing lights flashing through the windows and music blaring
As I rang the doorbell.
It was answered by someone who had money in their hand "oh! You're not the pizza guy- Come in dude!"
"Thanks." I said walking into the house.
Looking around I saw people playing beer pong in the kitchen and drunk teens jumping off the stairs-...
I walked to a usual spot I go to at parties, the room farthest from the party, which was this empty room in this guys mansion. I sat down and scrolled through my phone glad to be out of the house.
I watched a couple YouTube videos waiting to leave at around 11:25 hoping to get home before 12, knowing how mad my Dad would be if I came home past curfew.
....Soon 11:24 rolled around and I decided to dip, I snuck a couple slices of pizza while leaving, then drove home.
I got home around 11:50 parked the car and went inside to see them all passed out on the couch in the living room.
I rolled my eyes and went upstairs to put on some pajama pants, and hop into bed.
I turned off my light and went to sleep...
