In the absence of a case, members of the BAU had a seemingly endless sea of paperwork. After a full day of writing and filing forms Gale's had become exhausted. It had been 9 p.m. and Gale was still at her desk, barely awake. Struggling to keep her eyes open, she leaned her head on her fist while continuing to write. Before she realized it, she had fallen asleep at her desk.

Morgan, always mischievous, leaned over and swiped at her arm with a playful force that startled her. Gale's head slipped and her face met with the surface of her desk with an audible thud. "Ow," she uttered, wincing and rubbing her sore temple. "Morgan!"

"Serves you right for sleeping on the job," Morgan chuckled, reclining back in his chair, his grin wide on his face.

Gale looked over at his bare desk, a large difference from her crowded one, "How come your desk is so empty? I swear I feel like I'm wading through quicksand here." She said, shuffling through the stack of paperwork before her.

"It's simple," Morgan offered, picking up the final piece of paper from his own desk. "just put them on boy genius' desk when he's not looking." He nonchalantly deposited the sheet onto Reid's workspace. Gale couldn't contain her laugh.

As if on cue, Reid's walked back in the room toward the bullpen. "Hey, if you guys are hungry, I know a pretty good Indian restaurant that's open all night."," he casually offered.

""Oh, I can't. I have a date," Prentiss chimed in, capturing both Morgan's and Gale's attention.

"You have a date? With who?" Morgan inquired eagerly, his curiosity piqued.

"My hot tub," Emily quipped, her words causing Gale's heart to flutter. The mental image of a relaxing evening immersed in warm waters threatened to whisk her away from the realm of work-induced fatigue.

"Now that sounds like a party," Morgan playfully asked.

Prentiss scoffed, shooting down any hope of an invitation. "You're so not invited."

"Hold up, guys," JJ interjected from the top of the stairs, her baby bump noticeably larger with each passing day.

"Change of plans?" Reid said.

"What else is new?" Gale replied, ready to do anything other than the work at her desk.

"I'm glad I caught you," JJ began, her expression filled with concern. "I've been on the phone with a Sheriff in Nevada. There have been a series of suspicious accidents in the Reno area that may be connected," she revealed, her words bearing the weight of urgency.

"JJ, can't this wait until morning?" Morgan groaned, obviously ready to go home too.

"I don't think so. If my instincts are correct, we'll be hitting the road first thing tomorrow," JJ announced. Everyone quickly moved to the conference room to go over details of the case.
