A couple of days passed and your life went on as normal. Not Jungkook, but Johyuk. You started to meet him to go to high school, since you found out he lived near you.
You ate together, studied together and everything went well. He always smiled at you and made you laugh with his silly jokes and prefect smiles. The only time he was suddenly expressionless and cold was when you asked him about Jungkook. It had been a couple of days since your meeting but that boy wouldn't get out of your head.
You were curious, you wanted to know why when he appeared or was mentioned everyone suddenly shut up. Everyone showed a kind of fear mixed with respect and discomfort.
But Jungkook was not what you were most curious about. When you asked Johyuk about your accident, he tensed up and wouldn't talk to you for 5 or 10 minutes. That really ate you up inside. It made you want to kidnap him and get all the information out of his beautiful head. But you weren't going to do it, obviously.
Still, you tried to ignore the topics you were curious about. As you were doing now. You and Johyuk had just arrived at the high school gate and, oddly enough, Jeon Jungkook was standing there.
He was ten or fifteen feet away from you... reading a book? You would never have imagined that this boy, tall, handsome, mysterious... would read.
Johyuk had said something to you, so you had to turn your attention to him again. "Hey, what do you say we go to the bookstore in town today? So we can buy some- " you couldn't help but cut him off. You were listening to him but your gaze was still glued on Jungkook. It was still glued on the book he was reading.
"What's Jeon Jungkook doing reading.... Twilight!?". You said it a little louder than you meant to. The fact that you put words to that made Jungkook look at you. To look at you and smile....
Something your words have also caused was the transformation of Johyuk's face. He was not so serious but he looked tense. You would never stop wondering why he does such strange things.
"Why are you talking about that idiot now? Ignore him, I know he's right next door but he doesn't deserve your attention. So, what do you say? Let's go to the bookstore and buy some books?". As he said that, Johyuk lightly touched your hand, as if he was telling you to look at him.
And you did it, and not because of his words, but because of that slight touch. Whenever Johyuk touched you your heart raced. It wasn't that you liked him or anything, it just made you feel different. You had found out that he was the most popular in school (below Jungkook's weird popularity). He was in the dance and basketball teams. He got very good grades. And, as you had already noticed from the moment you met him, he was very handsome.
However, that beautiful face and sweet voice didn't stop you from wanting to stare at Jungkook. His was different. He had a very special style of beauty. From what you had heard many girls say, his beauty was intimidating, that's why they preferred Johyuk's. That's why you didn't hear all of them talking about how they wanted Jungkook to kiss and caress them.
But on you it had a totally different effect. To you his beauty seemed addictive. It made you want to reach out and caress that perfect face. It made you want to discover every millisecond of his life. It made you want to kiss him softly. It made you want to do everything.
But, sadly, you knew it would never happen. Apparently, from what you've heard, you've been the only person other than his friends that he's talked to without being obligated. But it won't happen.
And since you had already assumed that, you turned your gaze (which had been a little lost suspiciously in the direction of where Jungkook was) to Johyuk. You proceed to smile sweetly at him and return the physical contact, lightly stroking his hand.
"Of course we'll go to the bookstore.. as long as you buy me the book! Hehehe." Johyuk burst out laughing and leaned quite close to you. He looked into your eyes and wink his left eye.
"Sure thing babe, I'll buy you anything you want." Then he got up, stroked your hair quickly and walked into the school. A soft blush rose to your cheeks after realizing how close your mouths were and how he had called you baby. So you inadvertently blurted out a few things out loud....
"Jeon Johyuk! Stop making me feel things, ahhhhhh" and you burst out laughing. Then you headed towards the advanced literature class not remembering that it was your turn to sit with Jeon Jungkook.
