"I missed a few things." I stared at Leilani and Leah's interlocked hands. I hadn't recalled them getting back together.

Leah shrugged. "We don't know what we're doing either."

"Clearly." I snorted.

"Are you mad?" Leah asked, she seemed to be worried about my answer. However, Leilani didn't seem to be very concerned.

"It's not any of my business. Whatever makes you happy." I looked into the tattoo parlor we were standing in front of.

Leah followed my gaze and laughed. "Right, you're not here for our love lives."

"That I'm not." I smiled. "Let's go get pierced."

Originally the only thing on my to-do list was to do the dishes. But Leilani invited me to get a piercing. Since I was bored I hopped on the opportunity to do something exciting.

Leilani let go of Leah's hand and wrapped her arm around me. "Are you excited, Blythe?"

"You two do know that you're only seventeen right? You need parents or guardians." Leah mumbled.

Leilani feigned shock."Thank you for telling me. I completely forgot about the law."

Leah threw her head back and groaned. "You know a guy."

"I always know a guy." Leilani beamed.

"Let's just get this over with." Leah was the first one to enter the tattoo parlor.

"So you're not planning on getting anything? Because if I recall correctly you wanted a tattoo." Leilani said.

"I decided against it." Leah shrugged.

I was surprised, Leah didn't seem like the tattoo type. "What were you going to get?"

"A wolf. Something tiny and simple." Leah told me.

"You should get it," I said. "What does it represent?"

"I'm not sure."

Leilani leaned against Leah and batted her eyes rapidly. "I'm thinking of getting Leah's name tatted on me."

"Don't," Leah said.

"She's not worth it." I joked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Leah crossed her arms.

I turned to Leilani and lowered my voice to a loud whisper. "Word on the street is that she's a player."

"How many other girls are there?" Leilani pushed Leah's shoulder.

Leah shrugged. "I'm a dog, you knew this already."

Our laughter was interrupted by a tall lanky guy.

"What can I do for you girls today?" He asked.

Leilani seemed to know him. "Hey, Jack. I'm back for another piercing and a tattoo this time."

"What about your buddies?"

"Both of them want tattoos," Leilani answered for us.

"Actually, I want a septum." I corrected.

Leilani waved her hand to dismiss my correction. "She'll get a piercing and a tattoo."

"Do you guys already know what you want?" Jack asked.

"I want a dragon on my ribcage," Leilani said. "These two are undecided."

"Well you two can come with me and I can help you create designs. Leilani you can go see Peter." Jack led me and Leah to a corner of the parlor. There was a whiteboard and a couple of markers.
