Licorice shrieked. 
Red Velvet screeched. 
Crystalline Ice yelled curse words as she fell. 
Frosted Rose covered her eyes. 
The four of them separated due to the fact that Frosted Rose and Crystalline Ice fell first. 
Licorice could hear the sound of the running water get closer. 
He was terrified that he or Red Velvet would be hurt by the surface tension of the water, or the water wouldn't be deep enough to cushion them from the ground under the water. 
Licorice could hear the sound of the air passing him as he fell. 
It scared him that he was falling again. 
All Licorice could think about was how it was Pomegranate's fault. 
She was the one who made the ground break under them with her weight. 
Pomegranate did nothing to stop them from falling. 
It was a fair enough move, though. 
Yet again, she was risking Red Velvet and Licorice's lives by doing such a risky move. 
If Crystalline Ice and Frosted Rose died by the impact of the fall, Licorice and Red Velvet would have too. 
The four of them fell into the water. 
They sank into the water. 
Licorice felt extremely weighed down by his robes. 
He squirmed around. 
Frosted Rose grabbed Crystalline Ice and swam away under the water. 
Licorice swam up to the surface. 
He glanced around, looking for Red Velvet. 
Licorice didn't see him swim off with Frosted Rose or Crystalline Ice. 
But he wasn't in sight. 
Licorice swam under again. 
He glanced around for him, until he saw him. 
Red Velvet was flailing under the water. 
He was struggling. 
Licorice grabbed his arm. 
He pulled him up to the surface as best as he could. 
Licorice wrapped Red Velvet's arm around his own shoulder. 
This made Red Velvet's head go above the surface. 
Red Velvet's eyes were covered by his hair. 
Licorice noted that his hair looked much better slick back than as bangs; he looked a little stupid and clueless. 
Red Velvet gasped for air. 
"What were you doing down there?!-" Licorice questioned him. 
Licorice was worried for him more than anything. 
He had to risk himself in order to save Red Velvet. 
"I... I don't know..." Red Velvet admitted. 
Licorice stared at him. 
"What do you mean?! Don't you know how to swim..?!" Licorice asked. 
Red Velvet sighed. 
"No. I don't know how to swim. I never learned how... I... I could've drowned without you..." Red Velvet admitted. 
Licorice gasped quietly. 
"Ugh- Swimming is a life skill! I can't believe Dark Enchantress didn't teach you how to swim!" Licorice complained. 
"As if you would teach me," Red Velvet replied sarcastically. 
Licorice glanced at him. 
He didn't know if he was being sarcastic or not.
