Ladybug and Chat Noir exchanged a worried look. Ladybug's wings materialized as Chat Noir took a leap towards the next building's rooftop, hurrying towards their friends.
"King, Pegasus. Stay alert, but pretend you're not aware of him," Ladybug said, flying above Chat Noir. "Everyone, to the Garnier Opera. When y-"
"Something's happened!" Polymouse interrupted. "Something's alarmed him. It's as if... he's smelled something?"
"I'm almost there," Carapace said.
"He's moving towards the Seine. I don't have a mini me there and he's moving too fast for me to follow," Polymouse said.
"No worries. He's moving towards us," Capri said.
"What is going on here?! Some of the people here have started running in that direction!" King Monkey said.
"I'll open a portal to you," Pegasus said.
"Don't approach him. Remember he still hasn't shown what his power is. Wait for more of us to arrive. Copy?" Ladybug said.
"Copy. I'm already invisible, so I- Pegasus LOOK OUT!!" they heard Rooster Bold yell.
Ladybug felt her blood running cold. Maybe it had been a mistake having spread the team all over the city. Maybe they should had gone in bigger groups.
Chat Noir increased his pace when he heard screaming in the distance. "No, you won't!" he said through gritted teeth.  
When they reached Place de la Concorde, Chat gasped loudly when he saw the scene below. He had been in mid jump, so he crashed hard against the ground.
On her side, Ladybug lost her concentration too and her wings vanished. With the help from her yo-yo she managed to have a more proper landing. 
Capri was on the ground. Hopefully just unconscious. 
King monkey and Pegasus were fighting against a group of people who were preventing them from helping Rooster.
At the center of all the chaos and no longer invisible, Rooster was lying on the ground struggling against who had been their main target. 
His attacker's light blue skin heavily contrasted with his bright red eyes. A mask over his eyes was partially hiding a face that was between human and the one of a bat. With long straight black hair and wearing an old-looking dark leather suit, he growled savagely as he buried his fingernails on Rooster's arms. 
Rooster Bold screamed in pain.
"NO!" Chat Noir and Ladybug yelled horrified.
The scent of fresh wheat filled the night air as the blue man seemed to be feeding from a cooper glow that was surrounding Rooster's body.
Chat Noir launched himself against the group that were protecting the blue man. Using his staff he delivered blows left and right, not being able to think of anything else other than helping his friend.
At the same time, Ladybug's fairy-like wings materialized once more. She flew over the crowd but as she tried to land, the people below closed in on her, she started flying up again, but they reached for her legs and were pulling her down. She screamed when she saw their faces. They weren't regular people. They were monsters. Long nails were clawing on her legs. Then she finally noticed the two long fangs protruding from their teeth. 
"Vampires!! Chat Noir, they are vampires!" she yelled.
