He trusted the hand that pulled him closer.

Letting their feet step in tune to a song only they could hear.

Body warmth being shared as they tucked in as close as possible.

Sway of their bodies as their arms held on tighter.

Eyes close as they just felt.

Feeling the other in their arms one last time.

Hips grinding in a none sexual manner, just brushing as they try to melt as one.

Noses taking in the other's scent, breathing in home, safety and comfort.

Their ears taking in the beating of hearts hidden under clothes, under skin, behind the ribs.

Only lifting his head from his chest, feeling the other's head leave his shoulder just for a spin.

A spin that brought out their bubbly and joyful laughs.

Sappy smiles unseen as both refused to open their eyes.

But they felt when their bodies clashed togehter, joined and twisted perfectly into each other's hold.

The steps showered.

But they held on tighter.

Neither daring to speak, not daring to shatter the few minutes they had to leg go.

He was normally the graceful one but he's never had to be graceful for their dance.

He let the other take the lead while it was just them, just wanted the reassurance of arms holding him so close and on for dare life, scared to lose him.

He'll take the lead for any formal dances .. he would have taken the lead when it was needed.

The song was coming to an end, they both knew it.

But they carried on swaying.

Another twirl that was more graceful than they've ever been before.

The other's been practicing, he really had before.

Tears were kept hidden behind their eyelids.

Smiles never turned sad, stayed loving and bright.

Their laughter was dying out.

They stepped to the beat, lost in their own world still.

Hands staying clutching the other close, not ready to leg go.

Heads laid rested where it was most comfortable for their necks.

Beating of hearts, one slowing while the other kept a steady pace.

The warmth was fading.

The solid form of the body he wasn't ready to let go off was fading.

The comfort, the safety .. home was vanishing.

One last twirl.

A hand disappearing from his.

No one pulled him back in.

And when he opened his eyes, he was left alone.

Their final dance had finished and it was time for both of them to let go.

So, as his tears fell, he finally let his forever go.

A/N: It'd most likely not be as good as I've hoped for it to came out. But it made me cry while trying to write it up. Felt doing something bitter-sweet between them both. A final dance of their love before one of them are left behind, force to carry on living without them.

Sounds silly that I actual cried, was playing the song in the background and well.. it's been a rough couple of weeks. So, I think realistic I was just letting it all out while trying to write up a loving moment.
