The players run onto the field...and...we've started.
I couldn't wait for the game to start. I was a bit nervous, nervous, after all, this was my first game.
For the first fifteen minutes, everything was fine. We had possession of the ball on our side. Xavi was quite satisfied, but we couldn't score a goal. In the 20th minute, PSG won a corner. It was very dense, I thought we wouldn't be able to get out. But we had Ter Stegen. You couldn't see the difference between him and the wall. He threw himself at the ball like there was no tomorrow and made a save.
Our entire bench was jumping and celebrating, as if we had scored a goal. Unfortunately, we didn't score a goal until the end of the first half. Still, the 0:0 result is not that bad. We had more possession of the ball, which is quite good. In the dressing room, we had some more tactical changes and agreements before the second half.
In the second half, our defense was pierced. Messi and Neymar Jr. they went through our defense as if it wasn't there. The only bright spot for us was Ter Stegen. However, not even he can save everyone. In the 50th minute, Messi went through the defense and passed to Sergio Ramos, who scored. Ter Stegen couldn't do anything. The stands of PSG are roaring. They were already celebrating. This went really badly. Our players have lost the will to play. All our hope has sunk.
Nothing interesting happened in the rest of the second half. Until the 79th minute. Our players got a strange burst of energy and headed towards PSG's goal. Lewandowaki shot on goal. The ball bounced off the crossbar and into Raphinh who tried to score, unfortunately the PSG goalkeeper made a save, but the ball went straight to Gavi's head. He headed the ball, which flew over the goalkeeper who was still lying down after saving Raphinha's attempt. Our whole bench bounced. We all started to hug and celebrate. And the players on the playground celebrated. It was a perfect moment, which I will always remember. A perfect goal.
However, the game was not over yet. We were all still in juice and glory after the goal. Unfortunately, in the 87th minute, someone hooked Neymar jr. who immediately fell in 11 meters and started rolling on the floor in pain. The referee immediately ran up and pointed to the white dot. I'm sure it wasn't for the penalty. Our entire bench jumped up and headed towards the judge. I tried to calm them down so they wouldn't cause a problem. Xavi immediately went to talk to the referee. The referee didn't even listen to him at all, but immediately gave him a yellow card. He came to the bench and gave a few more yellow cards. I tried to talk to him and convince him that those yellow cards are unnecessary. He immediately showed me a yellow card. I didn't even know that I could get a yellow card. When the situation calmed down, we all sat down and waited for the penalty to be awarded. Messi was taking the penalty. Xavi grabbed his head. He probably knew that Messi would score 100%. However, we should not lose hope.
nd cheering. We still had a little time. At the end of the 90 minutes, 5 more were added. We had a few more additions. Everyone was waiting for those extra 5 minutes to pass. Time was about to end...Gavi got the ball, which he passed to Pedri. He started running. It looked like no one could stop him. At one point he was one on one with the goalkeeper. And...and...we all grabbed our heads...and...and...GOAL. 2:1 for us. Everyone started running towards Pedri and jumping on him. Everyone was lying on top of each other and celebrating. At that moment, the referee's whistle sounded and the game was over. And the bench started running towards him. Everyone was very excited and happy.
We all celebrated. Everyone congratulated Pedri. I think he will surely remember this goal forever. I was really happy for him. I know how much football means to him. I went towards him to congratulate him. He slipped away from the rest of the players, probably to get some air. "Congratulations." I held out my hand to congratulate him. He was looking at my hand in a strange way. I thought it bothered him. To my amazement, he came up and hugged me. That left me a little surprised, but I hugged him back. "Thank you," he answered. We celebrated a little more, then headed for the bus. We continued the celebration in the bus. We sang and were happy. Even Xavi joined us.
