If there was one person Willow loved more than Jasper, more than Koda, more than Paul, more than any other person on this planet was her Uncle Charlie. The man had raised her on his own since she was six and it had not been easy for him. When she had been younger she had thought that Charlie had only agreed to raise her because Renee had taken Bella and she was a surrogate child. However, Willow learned over the years that Charlie saw her as his own. Charlie had made a promise to his sister on her deathbed that he would take Willow to raise and he had risen to the challenge.
As Police Chief he was constantly busy but he made time for Willow no matter what. He was at all of her tee-ball games, her failed piano recitals, modeling for her art projects, every birthday party was themed (something that he would have definitely have done for Bella too), and he was there when she received the MVP for the districts in basketball. He was also there for all the bad parts too. Every trip to the hospital from climbing trees, carrying her off the court when she tore her ACL ending her chance for a basketball scholarship, and through her whole ordeal with Noah.
Willow loved her parents, but at this point all that was surviving of them were the vague memories she had of them. She loved Charlie and his approval meant everything to her, and that's why she was currently smiling from ear to ear as she watched the love of her life and the man who raised her, sit together on the couch to discuss the evening news they were watching together.
"The weather for graduation on Saturday is supposed to be in the high 60's." Charlie stated before he took a sip of his beer. "Maybe you won't have to wear a turtleneck Willow." The comment held sarcasm as he shifted his eyes to redhead, making it known to her that her outfit choice hadn't gone unnoticed.
"I look cute and you know it." She teased without looking up from her sketchbook, defending her outfit choice of a loose cream colored turtleneck, a faded hunter green cardigan, a dark blue jean skirt, and black ankle boots with a two inch heel.
"Turtlenecks are kind of out of style darlin'." Jasper smirked at the glare that Willow shot him for his smug remark, knowing good and well that he was the reason she was having to wear it.
"Speaking of graduation, is there anything you want as a gift?" Charlie asked with a smile as he watched the two of them.
"I don't really want anything." Willow shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention back to her sketchbook.
"Edward is getting Bella a car since the truck broke down." Jasper stated with his attention turned back to the TV as the news shifted to the situation in Seattle that his family was tracking.
"Wow. A brand new car?" Charlie questioned and Jasper nodded in response. "That's nifty." The sarcasm flowed out of his mouth as he rolled his eyes. Willow snorted a laugh at her uncle before she quickly turned her attention to Jasper, her pencil pointing at him with a serious look on her face.
