Sammy gasped loudly, "Did you just speak or was I hallucinating?" She joked and he laughed, confirming it with a nod. "I wasn't planning on doing it any time soon so you should feel hella special." He said and she blushed, smiling as wide as a woman's vagina after giving birth.
"You've got nice voice on ya, Luke." She commented, and he giggled rather girly. "Yeah, haven't heard it in a while." He said, "Wow, you don't talk to yourself when you're alone?" He chuckled, shaking his head,
"Nor moan when you masturbate?" She said, sticking her tongue out at him, he hit her arm playfully as she laughed, standing up and taking off running back inside the house. "Sam!" Luke whisper-shouted when Sammy was not so far away from him. "Yeah?" She turned around and he gestured for her to get closer to him. She walked towards him, "You have to promise never tell anyone that I'm talking okay?" He informed her when she was just inches away from him. "Why? Are you gonna name the places of secret force points of the army?" She joked again, "When do you take things seriously?" He asked, rolling his eyes. "Around midnight." She joked and he had enough, as she laughed taking off running around the backyard. He chased her around until she tripped, when she looked back to see how far he was from her, on her own leg and came crushing to the grassy ground.
"Are you okay?" Luke asked, examining Sammy's figure. She was clutching her right forearm, her eyes squeezed shot in a painful expression. "Do I look like I'm okay?" She said, as he put one arm under her shoulder blades and one under the slope of her knees. He carried inside the house, and sat her down on the nearest chair. "Do we need to go to the hospital?" He asked her, and she nodded, "It snapped. I think something's broken." She said and he immediately walked her slowly to his mother's car, without caring to ask for permission, he drove her to the nearest hospital in sight, which was, thankfully, only about three blocks away from their house.
Luke got out of the driver's side and quickly jogged to Sammy's side, helping her out of the car as she was still clutching her forearm. He walked her inside the hospital building and stopped at the reception. "Excuse me, umm," Luke didn't know what to say so he waited for the receptionist to help him out. "What's the matter?" She said, and Luke silently thanked God. "Um, She fell on her forearm and she thinks it's broken." He explained and the receptionist told him to wait until she could fetch a doctor for him. She retrieved back to him, and told him to follow her into the doctor's examining room.
The receptionist walked both Luke and Sammy to the room and knocked on the door. "You can enter." She said, walking away, going back to the reception. Luke walked Sammy inside and made her take a seat on the bed that rested in the corner of the small room. "So, what's the case?" The doctor asked, and Luke explained it again to him and he asked if he could check on her.
The doctor preformed his job on Sammy and resulted with a fractured elbow. It was not entirely broken as Sammy thought, but it was still a thing that'd need a temporary cast. And needless to say she hated casts. Luckily Luke had enough money to pay for everything and Sammy was walked to a room where the doctor should put the cast on her. He carefully folded the cast on her forearm and in a blink of an eye the mission was accomplished.
Luke walked Sammy out of the hospital, looking sympatheticly at her. "Are you feeling any better?" He asked, and she shrugged her shoulders, "It doesn't hurt but it's also numb so I don't know what I should feel." She said and Like cracked a small chuckle, "Sorry." He apologized, embarrassed. "It's okay. It's actually a matter to laugh at." She said, smiling. "I look like a puppet that got one string cut." She said, referring to her fractured arm, as she made a weird sound, and posing as an actual puppet Luke laughed loudly and they walked back to the car.
"Do you think Liz will poison me? Or do you think she'll just be satisfied enough by only throwing me out of the house?" Sammy said absentmindedly, and Luke laughed, shaking his head. "You're amazing, Sam." He complimented her and she blushed.
"You're too busy being you that you don't realize how impressive that is. I like that about you." He said, smiling in her direction. She blushed, crimson creeping on her cheeks, "Thanks." She said, letting out a shy giggle as Luke started the car to go back home.
