the cop got out the car walking to kai's driver side window tapping on it indicating for it to be rolled down
kai rolls his window down for the cop looking at him with a smile
" hey officer is there something wrong ?" kai asked the officer
" yeah there is actually , you were going 85 in a 60 , and your license plates is past expired " he said making kai look down at the seat where he tucked the strap
" could i see some license and registration ?" he asked kai
" oh yeah lemme grab it " kai replied while reaching in his pocket
kai handed the officer his information before the cop took it and walked back into his car while kai sat there panicked
" damn man " kai said running his hands down his face
the cop came back after a few minutes later telling kai to step out the car
" what i gotta get out the car fore ?" kai asked the cop
" you have tickets in multiple locations while also your tags are expired " the cop said opening the car door reaching in to grab kai out
just then tooda pulled the car over and parked behind the cop car while mir pulled on the side
" hey sir you can be here " the cop said before mir got out and pistol whipped him
" cmon nigga " mir said to kai while they all got in the car
" yo dumbass should've kept driving , yo big stupid ass tryna go to jail ?" tooda asked kai as they walked away
" man shut the hell up " kai said as they got in the car and drove home

" hey how'd it go ?" maya asked kai as he stepped in his house seeing her there , sitting on his couch
" shit we got it , a nigga almost went to jail on some real shit " kai said to her as he shut the door behind him
" okay well are all you guys okay ?" maya asked him standing up
" yeah we coo , i gotta apologize to sevyn though , i should've never called her out her name no matter how mad i am at her she like my little sister and i was wrong foe that " kai said sitting down on the couch before maya joined him
" i understand " maya said rubbing his back
" shit at least this shit done and over with , i don't know why my dumbass even left strap over there , all this shit would've been avoided" kai said lowkey irritated
" yeah but you gotta remember you was young and just tryna hustle out here , it's not easy out here " maya said tryna reassure him
" you right , but i'm over allat bullshit i'm finna go to sleep " kai said standing up , walking over to the stairs
" okay baby , are you hungry i made you food ?" maya said standing up and looking over at him
" nah i'm coo imma warm it up inna morning though , thank you bae " kai said walking over to hug maya
" anything for you baby " she said while she embraced him
" now come lay wimme a nigga outchea tired" kai said as he put his arm over maya and they walked up the stairs

" i accept your apology , just don't let it happen again or imma put my hands on you " she threatened

" whatever , did y'all handle what y'all needed to do ?" she asked him
" yeah i got the strap we coo na " kai said reassuring her
