The two man behind him took a step forwards as if they were about to attack me. I was holding my breath and felt my heart racing in my chest as I looked at the man. A lump forming in my throat when the man looked me up and down as if he was checking me out. Once he was done he hold his hand up and the two bodyguards stopped before they could get to me.
"I'm sorry, I'm so clumsy." I said innocent before taking a step back, I tried to walk past him so I could go back towards Soap but he didn't move. He was blocking my way.
"That's alright. Tell me, why is a lovely woman like yourself standing here all alone." He said while pressing his hand forward before he took mine. Forcefully he pulled it closer towards him and moved it to his lips before he kissed the top of my hand.
"I'm just here as somebody's plus one."
"Boyfriend or?" His eyes were piercing through mine and he didn't seem to want to let me go.
"More like brother." I looked over his shoulder towards Soap. I heard the warnings from my team through my earpiece, but I can't do anything about it. 
"Can I have this dance?" The general reached me his hand, waiting for me to take it and follow him.
Soap his eyes met mine and I noticed the shock in his, he was shaking his head to tell me not to go with him. He even stood up from his seat so he was ready to interfere when needed.
"Ashley do not engage the target. Get away from him." I heard through my coms, panic was clearly noticeable in their voice. "Gently decline his offer and get back to Soap." 
Hearing the worry of my team didn't help at all with my nerves, and to make things worse I notice how the General looked at me impatience. His eyes were dangerous as if he challenged me to decline his offer. The man looked ready to kill. 
Having seen this look before in my dad his eyes I know I don't really have a choice. The man wasn't into Maria and if we wanted to catch him it was up to me to keep lure him to us. After everything I had read about him, I couldn't let him walk away out of here, I have to do this.  
With my hand still in his, he guided me to the dancefloor and spun me around before he pulled me against his chest. His two bodyguards stood on the side, watching how we danced together.
The man moves his hands down my back until it rested on top of my bum. Feeling him so close to me, I could smell the alcohol and cigarettes on him. The familiar scent brought flashbacks of my dad back to my mind and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. His eyes were piercing me and I know he was planning on what he wants to do to me. I tried to keep my eyes on the crowd around us, on Soap to make me feel safe.
"Did anyone ever tell you how beautiful you are?"
Yeah and he is crazy, he kills people for way less then what you are doing right now, I thought to yourself. Let's not forget that he is watching and probably planning on how he is going to kill you.
"Well thank you that is nice of you to say."
After dancing with him for another 15 minutes, a voice was heard through the speakers. Somone entered the stage and asked for everyone to take a seat as the auction was about to begin.
He invited me over to his table so I could sit with him. I politely told him I came with my brother so I should probably get back to him but he wouldn't take no for an answer so he walked with me and introduced himself before inviting Soap to join us.
Soap stood next to me as we followed the man towards their table at the front. I moved in closer so I could hand him the USB drive that will give me excess to their system. He gave me a warning glare but we couldn't speak about it since the general was right in front of us.
