Estelle Blofis-Jackson was scared.

She was scared of the Man who showed up at the police station, claiming to be her dad's brother.

She was scared of the boy who came with her, he had big bags under his eyes and was looking longingly at the mug of coffee that the police officer was holding.

She was scared of the long black car that the two climbed into.

She was scared of the old man who called her 'Mistress Estelle' and took her bag.

Despite being almost a teenager, Estelle wasn't afraid to admit that she was more than a little scared.

One minute she was at home, excited for Percy to come back after his visit to his father, and the next she was being driven to Gotham city in a car for rich people.

Estelle was old enough to know that no matter how much she wished for her parents to be beside her, they would not be ever again. Estelle at least wanted Percy there.

Even though Estelle's half brother was often away doing godly things, he was always there when she needed him. The only problem was, Percy had gone to visit his father under the sea, there was a good chance that he wouldn't get the news of their parents death for another couple of days.

Oh how Estelle wished she could go to camp!

Instead she was stuck with a suit guy and a tired teenager who's names she had already forgotten.

---

When the car finally stopped moving, Estelle looked out the window to see a huge mansion! She'd never gotten to see Percy and Apollo's palace on Olympus, so it was probably he biggest house she'd ever seen.

"We're here," Her Uncle said, on the car ride she had remembered that his name was Bruce and he was a famous billionaire. Estelle nodded and followed him up the gravel pathway and towards the door of the Manor.

The 12 year old couldn't help but stare at the huge garden that surrounded her, she noticed many of the flowers that her mother used to keep in plant pots were growing freely here. The lawn was well cared for and the whole place was full of life despite the dreary sky overhead. Her mom would have loved it here.

The manor itself was even more impressive. Estelle had to throw her head back to see the top floor's windows. The front door was wooden and had beautiful carvings of swirls in.

Once inside, the old man who she had been sure was behind her took her bags while Bruce took her to meet the rest of his children.

---

When they entered the room where the other boys were, Estelle noticed it was a living room. There were bean bags and couches and even a hammock.

It wasn't the furniture that got Estelle's attention though. Her eyes were drawn straight to the two boys in the centre of the room. They had obviously just been fighting. The elder one had a multitude of cuts on his face and the younger had a bruise forming on his cheek. They stood abruptly when she entered, guilty expressions on their faces.

The thing that Estelle noticed next was the white streak in the older boy's hair. She'd heard stories of how Percy had gotten his grey streak, but she doubted that this boy had held up the sky too.

"Estelle, this is my second eldest, Jason and my youngest-" Bruce was cut off by the younger,

"Father, why have you brought a peasant into the house? Is this another one of your charity projects?" He asked. Estelle scrunched up her nose, she didn't like the way his voice was all posh, he sounded more than a little stuck up.

"Damien, this is the daughter of my long lost brother, Paul." Bruce said to the boy, who Estelle assumed was called Damien.

"Oh." The boy said, "So this is my cousin." Damien looked at Estelle with a predatory gaze that made Estelle fear for her life.

"Yes." Bruce said, giving Damien a look that Sally used to give Percy when someone started talking about how good  the movie 'Hercules' was- a look that said 'Don't kill them, or no blue cookies for a week' or something along those lines.

Damien made a tutting sound and wondered off to gods know where, the elder one, Jason, followed, shouting

"Hey Demon Spawn!"

Which left her with only the one who was in the car. Whose name she still couldn't remember. Estelle was about to ask what his name was when Bruce got an alert on his phone,

"Sorry Estelle, I need to go into work, can I leave you here with Tim?" he asked, Estelle nodded. She was quietly thankful that Bruce had spared her the embarrassment of revealing that she had forgotten Tim's name.  "Brilliant. Alfred's in the laundry room. Do NOT, under any circumstances, attempt cooking." Bruce said, well, ordered. Estelle had to wonder what was so wrong with cooking?

Tim nodded and Bruce left the room, once he was gone, Tim said, "So B said 'No cooking' but thats more of a recommendation, what do you fancy?"

---

Y'all, I'm well aware that Tim probably doesn't even want to cook but he's trying to follow in Dick's footsteps and be welcoming. If anyone's wondering, Dick will show up at some point but he's currently in Bludhaven.

There'll probably be a few more Batfam bonding chapters and then I'll bring in Percy.

I'm really excited for where this story is going.

ANYWAY, thanks so much for reading, I hope this chapter was ok. If you enjoyed please Vote or comment, I love hearing your feedback!
