Rai's POV
"Wake up sleepy head," I heard voices above me. I smiled a tad bit when I realized that my mum had carried me to bed.
I was having the best dream and now because of those voices, all I really had was a severe case of sundreesoro.
Someone save me!
"Noo, just get a frying pan and hit your head." I groaned facing the other side and covering my head with a pillow which wasn't really soundproof enough.
"O well I guess I'm just gonna eat this chocolate cake that I brought you." I heard Debby say from under my pillow.
And just like that, I got up and found Debby and Sandra without a cake.
Talk about disappointment.
"Aaw," I pouted and hit them with a pillow.
I had to get ready since it would be my last day, I was leaving for Crowns early the following morning.
I took a quick shower and started debating on what to wear. I finally settled on denim shorts and partnered it with a white tank top.
It wasn't really cold at this time of year.
I scurried downstairs and found Debby, Ivy, Sandra and mum at the dining table.
They were all waiting for me so that we could take breakfast together.
I was not a big eater, so I just had some white coffee and a chocolate muffin.
My mum told us to prepare the place for the party. My relatives, friends and neighbors planned a going away party for me. I already hated it because of the very many uncomfortable questions i would have to answer from my very nosey aunties.
The party happened even after I pleaded with my mum, trying to talk her out of it, with my cutest puppy-dog eyes. She refused, saying that family was a must in any and every situation.
My situation was hopeless because once my mum made up her mind, she would not change it even if the world was ending.

"Hola tía!" I greeted my favorite auntie, Rosa.
She engulfed me in a hug and ruffled my hair which was not really a good idea coz I really valued my hair, and it took a really long time to make it.
But I valued family memories more.
"Oh, look how grown up you are, I bet all the boys are head over heels for you." she teased.
I looked away trying to hide the visible shade of red on my cheeks. "Quit it tia!" I said hitting her on the shoulder with great force to which he produced a loud groan and replied with yet another tease.
My mum called me to the living room, she tapped her glass to get everyone's attention.
"First of all, thank you all for coming here today for my daughter's going away party."
