Jade Leywin POV
Today is finally the day of our departure for Xyrus, I'm excited that I'm finally leaving this little village in the countryside but most of all I'm excited since I decided to start training my elemental magic once we reached Xyrus since I wouldn't need to keep a low profile anymore and given the sheer size of the Helstea's backyard I know I can get a little wild with my experiments without anyone noticing.
As I ponder about what kind of spells I'll try to develop once we're in Xyrus the Twin horns finally arrive at our home.
Before any of us can say a word something or well someone rushes in mine and Art's direction traveling faster than I thought possible, suddenly I find myself unable to breath as both me and Art are being suffocated by Angela giving us her usual bear hugs and basically burying us in her chest.
"OH MY GOD LOOK HOW CUTE YOU TWO ARE NOW!!!"
"Angela I don't think they can breath" luckily our guardian angel Durden rescues us from the deathtrap and gently put us down on the ground.
"Great you're here, thanks again for taking us with you on this trip" says dad as he greet everyone with a hug
"Alright have you already finished packing?" Helen asks mom.
"Yes we finished last night and already brought the luggages outside we just need to load them on the carts" mom answers as she point to the pile of luggages in our front yard.
"Good let's leave the loading to the men and chat a little" chimes in Angela
"Yeah I'm curious to why you're going to Xyrus, I thought you guys were doing fine here" Helen asks mom as dad, Durden and Adam are busy loading everything on the carts.
"We are doing fine, we're not moving we wanted to look for a tutor for Art and Jade, since Jade is a conjurer there's not much Rey can teach him and apparently Art is already at a level where Rey has little to teach him as well"
"Wait conjurer? what do you mean when you say conjurer?" Helen asks confused.
"We forgot to tell you guys last time you were here but both of them have already awakened and Jade is a conjurer while Art is an augmenter" mom explains, the moment she tells them we're already mages Helen and Angela turns towards us and I can feel both of them are trying to look at my core, since there's no reason to conceal it and also I don't think they would believe I'm a mage otherwise I deactivate mirage walk and let them see my core, at this their expression turns in utter disbelief as they see I'm already at the light red stage.
""HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!""
Both of them shout at the top of their lungs
"How what is possible?" asks Adam as he joins us after finishing loading the carts
"These two are mages already and Jade is already at the bottleneck of the light red stage!" Helen explains
"What?! Oh come on this is bullshit, are you telling me a kid not even four yet is not only awakened but also have already reached the same stage I am at?" Adam looks at us with a skeptical face.
"It's true just sense his core and you'll see it, but Adam can you please mind your language in front of the kids" mom says with a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes while emitting a dark, threatening aura.
"Yes ma'am" Adam answers instantly as he's sweating buckets.
"Okay everything is loaded so let's get going" dad saved Adam from mom's wrath diverting everyone's attention.

It's night and we just finished eating dinner, I must say carriages in this world are seriously uncomfortable, I can't even feel my butt anymore, I think I might introduce suspensions in this world in order to make travels more comfortable.
"Hey Rey I need to stretch a little before going to sleep, mind if spar with the little prodigies?" Adam asks as he gets up
"Just be careful Adam, I did some light sparring with Art but while Jade's core level is advanced I never really saw him cast spells" dad answers slightly worried about me since I never used any spell in front of him he doesn't know what I am capable of.
Okay I guess this is the part where Adam spars with Art in the novel, let's see how I fare in a fight against a veteran A ranked adventurer.
Taking our positions we get ready, I am side by side with Art with him taking the front as he's the augmenter, we're roughly 20 meters away from Adam, Art is using his wooden sword and Adam is using a stick while I am barehanded since I'm a conjurer.
"Okay little prodigies let's see what you can do" Adam says so as he dashes forward
Art dashes too and just an instant before clashing with him he disappears and reappear behind him slashing down with his sword, while surprised Adam manages to react in time as he pivotes turning around to face him, as his leg touches the ground again I quickly cast an earth spell to make the ground below his feet slide trying to force him to do a split.
Unfortunately he immediately jumps while blocking Art's slash with his stick, while both of them are in midair only Art gets blown back as he has a lot less mass than Adam.
As Art is sent flying by the impact Adam turns around and dashes towards me, slightly panicked I shoot myself backwards with a gust of wind and at the same time conjure several sharp rocks and fire them at him, making sure to send 2 on the sides and the other 3 straight at his torso so he can't just dodge them.
Despite my rock bullets not really slowing him down much it's enough for Art to catch up to him and start exchanging blows, since I aimed at Adam's torso Art didn't have to worry about my bullets as they would fly over his head harmlessly, I guess being short have its advantages as well.
As their exchange comes to an end Art goes for a vertical down slash while Adam goes for a lunge at this I try a trick elder Camus used against Art during his training in the flying castle, I start raising the air pressure in front of Adam's stick while also creating a void behind him, although not as effective as elder Camus I did manage to slow down Adam's lunge just enough for Art's slash to connect with Adam's shoulder forcing him to retreat while rubbing his shoulder.
"What kind of hellish training did you make these two go through in order to create such little monsters Rey?!" Adam asks our dad
"I didn't teach them that" dad says as he's scratching the back of his head nervously.
"When did you two learn those moves" mom asks us
"Ehm I learned from various books" Art says nervously
"I came up with then on the spot I wasn't really thinking, I just acted on instinct" I say.
