I woke up the next morning in a bed that wasn't mine. I shot up and felt around before reaching a hand. A very familiar hand.

"Camilo?" I whispered

"Hm?"

"Where are we?"

"My room, we had a sleepover since you could barely keep your head up," He laughed groggily. "I had to carry you here, ya know? You fell asleep on the balcony." He started laughing hysterically.

I grabbed the pillow I was sleeping on and hurled it at him.

"WoAh- Hey- Hey- Hey now! You don't know who you're messing with. I am the KING of pillow fights."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah really! Guess what else I'm the king of?"

"Uh- being cheesy? Blushing easily? Being a good dancer?"

Camilo stayed quiet for a moment before shyly replying, "Thank you," he cleared his throat before speaking again, "but uh- no NO, I am the KING of…" he paused once again.

"Come on ,man. The suspense is killing me!"

Camilo leapt across the bed and placed his hands on my stomach before tickling me.

"THE KING OF TICKLE FIGHTS!" He exclaimed.

I started laughing uncontrollably, rolling back and forth making an attempt to get away. I started kicking my feet.

"WOAH! Watch it! You're going to knock me out if you keep swinging like that."

"Maybe that's the goal."

Camilo stopped tickling me and helped me get back up to a sitting position.

This guy is impossible. I let out a sigh.

"What? What are you thinking about in that pretty head of yours?"

"You."

"Me? You're sighing about me?" He pouted.

I giggled in response to this.

"Any plans for today?" Camilo asked.

"Nope!"

"Awesome! Let's go get breakfast then."

Breakfast went without a hitch. Not everyone was at the table so me and Camilo went to the front of Casita to eat. I enjoyed the sound of the Encanto bustling in the mornings and Camilo said he loved to see it. We sat almost in silence as we ate but not an uncomfortable one, no, a very comfortable silence.
Once we had finished eating we sat out plates in the sink. Now my job was to follow Camilo wherever he wanted to take me this time. I trotted behind his voice letting it guide me until I realized the path.

Our spot.

I started to run in front of Camilo.

"Woah woah! I wasn't expecting you to start running once you realized where we were." he said with a smile.

The morning was still young and the sun had barely moved since breakfast. Camilo made it over to me and sat down, I followed.

"You picked the perfect time to be here, the sun is directly on us!"

"I'm glad you think so too! I always like this place but especially in the mornings. Though I normally end up here near night time."

The cool dewey grass supported my back and the warm sun covering the front of me like a blanket all felt so surreal. Perhaps it was even the perfect balance.
