my dear darling readers...
welcome to the final note for Blue and White.
following the final chapter and epilogue being published, the story is now complete. it has been completely rewritten, start to finish.
first off, allow me to thank you, from the very bottom of my heart. thank you so much for reading my story, long as it was - and for some of you, thank you for rereading! thank you for the views, the votes, the comments. though I haven't replied to every comment, I do read each one and I appreciate each and every single one.
I appreciate the critiques, the jokes, the questions, the silly reactions, and everything between.
the support I have received for this story - twice now - has given me an unparalleled sense of joy, and I am so grateful to have such wonderful and dedicated readers. this is a long story - so good job for powering though it, and thank you for spending so much time with what I've written!
it really is surreal to me to think that real, physical, people read my stories, and for one so long, for one story to be the length of six novels... it really is incredible to me, so thank you.
I sincerely hope I have written something that you all have enjoyed.
one day, I'll publish stories of my own - and I have this story to thank for such good practice. this is, of course, just a fanfic on a website, but it means a lot to me and I really do like how it turned out. it's something I feel I can be proud of, and something I hope meant something to you as well!
this has been an incredible journey, truly. to work through it for a year the first time, and to take another year with you all again... to everyone who read it, ghost readers and vocal alike, thank you again. to those of you that waited for the updates each monday and friday, to those of you that read in binges... thank you.
attack on titan is a special story to me; I've said it before, but one of my very best friends and I bonded over it when we were just budding friends in middle school. now, as we prepare to graduate college, we're still on that journey together.
thank you for reading the story of Amaya - flawed as she was - and for reading through the story of attack on titan through her eyes. I wanted her to be relatable but strange, strong yet vulnerable, serious yet witty. I also never meant for her to be in the way of plot, to get in the way of what other characters were doing - and that was for a reason! to see her develop through the story was a gift for me, and I was so excited to see you all rally for her, too.
as before, I still have that list of extras and specials, as well as requests from you all, written down. I will get to them, maybe soon or maybe in a while, but do count on them coming out eventually.
with all of that said...
allow me once more to express my gratitude for the support sent to this story and sent my way. my heart is always so, so warm when I think of this story and how you all have reacted to it. you're all so incredibly kind and generous, it's astounding to me.
