"So, you will be traveling with your boyfriend through Kalos this year," Professor Sycamore commented as we were reviewing some data he got yesterday. "I'll update your ID to a field researcher so you can get your field work hours that your degree requires."

"Great!" I smiled excitedly. "I'm leaving early today," I informed him. "I need time to get ready for my date."

"That's right, Ash Ketchum should already be in Kalos," Professor Sycamore smiled. "Be sure to come to my lab before leaving, I would like to meet him. Especially, since I believe the Greninja he has came from my lab."

"Got it!" I replied, standing up and heading to my apartment. After a shower and putting on a nice set of clothes, I was ready to roll... that is if Blackie would ever finish getting ready. "Come on! You are a pokemon, it's not like you need to get ready!" I protested, but backed away when she hissed at me. "Fine! Just you wait! We won't be having anymore double dates if you keep this up!" Half an hour later, Blackie came out looking just the same as she did before. What in the Distortion World had she been doing? "Finally!" I huffed and started heading towards the Prism Hotel, one of the best five star hotels in the city. "I would have never expected Ash to stay in a place like this... then again the security is great and he does not need to worry about someone discovering him in the Pokemon Center since he is staying for longer than a week here." Blackie tilted her head confused. "I didn't tell you? Ash has been having dozens of meetings with the Champion and Rangers of this region, arranging things to deal with Team Flare. It's why we have not been able to meet until now." Blackie nodded and he headed in. "What's going on?" I asked confused, seeing as the entrance hall was in a state of chaos. Everyone was staring at one direction gaping and blushing. I followed their gazes and my brain short-circuited. "Sweet mother Mew!"

Laying down lazily on one of the many couches was Ash. His unkept hair, was finally tamed and straightened out. He was wearing his usual suit with his Pikachu tie pin. While Pikachu was lazily laying down on his lap. He looked like sin encarnated and the worst thing is that he did not know it.

"Gary!" He looked up and finally noticed me. He came my way, oblivious to the conmotion he had just caused, smiling carefree. "I missed you!" He threw his arms around me, almost knocking me off my feet. I noticed many glares being sent my way and I had to stop myself from sticking my tongue out at them childishly. "Come one! I can't wait to see the Prism Tower!" I laughed as he dragged me out of the hotel and towards the Prism Tower. I was just so happy to have him back in my arms and from now on he will never leave. After completing my field hours I will be free, with my degree I will be able to follow Ash into whatever adventure he'll get himself into. Be it staying in the Orange Islands or going somewhere else. "By the way, I met the Gym Leader of this city online! His sister is Max's age and she is being homeschooled by her brother, like Max."

"Are they joining us then?" I asked him, though i already knew the answer.

"They are!" Ash beamed. How can I get angry when he smiles like that? "He had tried to create a robot to battle for him in his gym, but I convinced him to go to his father about it. After seeing his children's desire to travel the world, how could he refuse?"

"Though, we both know you had something to do with it," I commented drily.

"Well, if their father wants to be selfish and a bad parent by leaving his teenager son in care of the gym, his sister, and the city... well, he got what he deserved," Ash huffed, pouting adorably.

"You gave him a scolding," I deadpanned, as Pikachu shivered- surely recalling that call.

"He deserved it," Ash repeated stubbornly.

"That he did," I laughed. "Now come! I have so much to show you!"

I then proceeded to drag him around the whole city, once we finished touring Prism Tower. It was the city that has been my home for the last year and I could wait for Ash to enjoy it as much as I did. I took him to the best places to eat and watched in disbelief as he ate inhuman ammount of food. That must be the aura in him, otherwise there's no way he could stay as thin as he is! We even went shopping, getting him another couple on nice outfits for interviews and events. He is an important figure right now, he needs to play the part.

Once we were done, we returned to my apartment to have... some alone time.

The following morning I woke up with a huge smile in my arms. How could I not? Especially, since I woke up with Ash in my arms. I was so happy! I felt... at home.

"What are the plans for today?" Ash asked me, snuggling closer, if that was even possible, head laying on my chest.

"Well, Ashy, Professor Sycamore asked to pass to his lab," I informed me. "He says something about your Greninja having come from his lab."

"Oh, he did," Ash replied. "Greninja was quite the troublemaker. He refused every trainer that Porfessor Sycamore tried to give him to."

"That's rare," I commented, frowning. "He is so well-behaved with you. No to mention, he was bred to be a starter pokemon, that should not happen."

"Ever since he was a Froakie he knew what he wanted and that was an experienced trainer," Ash chuckled. "No rookie trainer would ever work out for him."

"Got it, he is a spoiled brat," I nodded.

"Gary!" Ash exclaimed, sitting up. "Don't talk like that about my pokemon!" He tried to scold him, but the huge smile on his face gave him out.

"Then stop catching spoiled pokemon!" I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him down into the bed with me.

"Gary!" Ash shrieked.

Yes. I am finally home.
