life has been great, and what i mean great i dont mean the sex, which is great and amazing thing but i have been doing something that i have always wanted to do since i met Scarlett
I am going to propose
i dont know when but im thinking of the right moment, i have already bought the ring and im going to get her parents blessing. yes, i know it might be a bit early but i really love her.
i am really nervous and i know they like me unless i have read them wrong, hopefully not
i told Scarlett i was going down to the shop for the day and told Jack to tell Scarlett that if she came to say that i went to the shops .
i was bobbing my head to the music i was blasting in my car on the way to her parents' house
once i made it to Melanie and karsten's place, i walk up their porch and knock on the door, after a couple seconds the door was swung open
"y/n? come in, come in" Melanie said ushering me inside "what brings you here?" she asked with a bright smile
"well i was just wondering if i could ask you and Karsten a question?" i said trying not to sound nervous
"yeah of course darling come into the lounge" she said and i followed her into the lounge room where i saw Karsten watching tv
"Karsten, y/n has something to ask us" she said gaining the man's attention
"y/n! how are you doing?" Karsten said sticking his hand out, i shake his hand replying
"honey sit down" Melanie said and i do as im told and sit down opposite them "so what do you need to ask?" she asks giving me my full attention
"so you know that i love your daughter very much" i said getting a little nervous they nodded with confused faces wanting me to continue "well i came here to ask for your blessing to marry your daughter" i said pulling out the ring opening the case

"i know its small bu-" i was going to continue but Melanie cut me off
"honey stop talking" she said reaching for the ring, i gave it to her stuttering but nothing came out, do they not like it?
"it's beautiful" Melanie said, i look at Karsten
(bitch i dont know how this shit works so if i get this wrong i am very sorry)
"y/n i give you my blessing to marry my daughter" Karten said making weight be lifted off my shoulders (idk if its consent or blessing but go with ittttt)
"i have never liked Scarlett's other boyfriends and husbands, and i never knew that she would go for girls but im so happy that she let you in because the way you look at each other makes me know that im making the right decision, so yes i give you my blessing to marry my daughter" Melanie said confidently standing up bring me into a hug.
we talked for a little while longer, watching tv before i acknowledge that i shouldn't take too long to get back.
i said goodbye to Karsten and walked to the door with Melanie, i stood outside hugging her before walking down the porch
"by the way, i want at least 1 more grandbaby from you y/n" Melanie said making me blush and laugh giving her the thumbs up
it only if Scarlett wants more kids.
Scarlett's POV
i have had 2 days off from work and i am very grateful because it's been stressful
Rose and i are currently on the couch watching 'Monsters University' she is snuggled up to my side resting on my arm and a blanket over the both of us
we heard the keys at the front door clash together before the door swung open
"pause the Movie mummy" Rose said getting off the couch rushing to the front door
"Mama!" Rose yelled and i heard my favourite laugh from down the hall
"hi Rosie, how are you baby?" i heard y/n ask Rose and they emerge from around the corner
rose is getting big but never says no to be picked up, and right now she is on y/n's back, as they walk into the dining room, y/n was holding a shopping bag and in the other was a hoodie which i guess she took off, mine now
she walked over to me placing her things on the ground, grabbing rose swing her around and threw her on a couple of pillows
Rose started giggling and squealing as y/n tickled her. somehow rose got out of her grip and ran away into the kitchen. i was biting my lip at their alteration, such a daddy
"hi baby" she said ducking down kissing my lips, i cup her cheeks and as she was about to pull away i pulled her back smashing her lips onto mine
"hmmm baby, dont start something you can't finish" she said breaking our kiss.
"who says i won't finish it" i said biting my lip
"dont do that" she said pulling my lip out from between my teeth and kissed my nose grabbing the bag opening it.
"i got you some chocolate and strawberries for you:" she said pulling out 2 blocks of chocolate and a punnet of strawberries
"this is why i love you" i mumble making her laugh kissing my forehead, i could get used to this
"and for you Rosie i bought you a caramel chocolate" y/n said handing the girl a small chocolate making the girl gasp hugging her legs
