"How long have you been standing there?" I questioned with my brow raised as I brought out a pack of chicken breasts that had been thawing all night.
"Long enough to hear you say the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say Extra."
"No offense Bakugou but what I talk about to Sandy is none of your business." I said with a roll of my eyes.
"You're a real dumbass."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I inquired glancing over at my classmate before I began cutting up the chicken. I planned on making chicken poppers and some homemade dipping sauce.
"God how dumb can you be? You really wanna give that bastard the time of day after everything? I guess those fucking meetings you go to are full of idiots too."
"Wait..How do you know about the meetings?" I questioned as I stopped cutting up the raw chicken breasts.
"Who do you think? Shitty Hair mentioned the support meetings on accident and the other extras decided to be nosey."
"Jesus Christ." I mumbled while pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Look you tell anyone I'm saying this and I'll exploded you into the next century." I nodded my head for him to continue, "I'm not gonna say anything about the meetings. Shitty Hair managed to keep the others from knowing the whole truth but I overheard you telling that Sandy person the last time she called. I think it's a stupid idea that you want to go see him. Some questions are better left unanswered. You could set yourself back months if you do this."
"I appreciate your...concern but I need answers, Bakugou. I need closure on everything. If there's one thing these meetings has taught me is that if you don't at least make an effort to find the answers you're looking for then you'll be wondering yout whole life if maybe it was a mistake in pushing it away." I explained with a deep sigh.
"Alright. If you don't want Kirishima knowing about this, I won't tell him but you should. Ugh I can't believe I'm saying this sappy shit..Kirishima really likes you and is nonstop when your name comes up. You should tell him what you want to do. You don't wanna keep a secret like that from him." I let out another sigh. Bakugou was right. I need to tell Ejiro what I'm gonna talk to Yagi about.
"Yeah you're right. You going soft there, Bakugou?"
"Shut the hell up." He said with a roll of his eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle as I went back to prepping tonight's food with Bakugou's help.
After we got all the prep done, it was time to make the food for the party while the rest of the class was just coming back from picking out their last minute costumes. While we were busy cooking, everyone else was setting up stations for the party. We had stations for the main entrees, drinks, and one for the cake and cupcakes I had made earlier. Once the food was all done, Bakugou and I had help carrying all the food to the table from Kirishima, Midoryia, and Shoto. While the 4 boys set up cups with ice in them, I grabbed the tray of cupcakes and brought them out to the table. The girls were eyeballing the decorated mini cakes. I went back into the kitchen to get the bigger cake, when Shota came into the room.
