THIRD POV

Rage would be an understatement to what the Romanos' were feeling.

Their little girl was abused. Their princess has been abused her whole life while they were living their life in luxury, happily.

Their princess who was supposed to be the most loved and spoiled girl in the whole world, was getting hit day and night and had to work at such a young age to afford normal items, like food.

They weren't able to pinpoint at what they were feeling right now. Was it rage towards those bastards who she called her parents for 15 years? Or was it guilt?? That they weren't able to give her the life she deserved?

But, within everything, there was a promise shone in their eyes.

Promise of fulfilling her every wish from now on and never let her feel alone again.

Promise of giving her the life she deserved.

Promise of treating her like she deserved to be treated like.

Promise to bring back her childhood and make good memories.

But, there was yet another promise they made to themselves.

Promise of destruction.

Promise to destroy the ones who made their little girl's life a living hell.

Promise to hurt those who hurt her.

And these were the promises every single Romano intended to keep.

No matter what...

After her extensive checkup and treatment, Evelyn had slept in her big brother's arms.

Nothing could describe this feeling for Ales. He was guilty for various reasons, and rightly so, yet he was happy that his sister trusted him. That she believed in him.

They went back home with Ales holding onto her tightly like she was the most precious thing in the world.

And she was. To him and all the other Romanos.

Reaching home, Ales tucked her in her bed. Everyone decided that one of them should stay with her so that she does not wake up alone. Ezra and Ethan instantly settled themselves beside her on either side before anyone else could.

This answered their question, and they all made their way out of the room leaving the triplets sleeping.

Reaching downstairs, all hell broke loose. All the pent up anger and rage came out.

Several brothers, basically the hot-head ones punched the wall in anger. The oldies couldn't understand what to do. Their emotions were mixed up. Guilt, anger, rage, sympathy, sadness, love, they were feeling it all. But, had no idea how to let it all out.

Gabriella saw the expression on her husband's face. She knew what he was feeling. She was feeling the same emotion, guilt. She knew it was eating him up that he wasn't there for his little girl. She knew he was drowning in guilt.

So, she made her way to her husband.

"You know it is not your fault right Val??" she asked him softly.

Valentino looked up at her and this was the second time she saw him so broken.
The first time being when Evelyn was taken.
She felt like crying looking at his state.
He looked so broken and hurt.

She immediately hugged him and Valentino hugged her back tightly looking for some sort of comfort.

"I wasn't able to protect her Gab. I failed." he said in a shaky voice.
