"I really, really need a favour."

He looked down, smiled, then looked back up at Justine again. "anything."

"do you have plans tonight?" Wondered Justine.

"there are better ways to ask me out- ow!" Bill glared at the blonde as he rubbed the top of his head.

"you idiot." Justine spat then scoffed. "I'm not here to ask you out. I actually want you to go out with Kate tonight." On his desk nearby, she noticed a cigarette sticking out from it's box in which she reached for it, but Bill had wrapped his hand around her wrist, stopping her.

He slowly shook his head, a smirk crossing his face as he tutted. "not good for you."

"you do it too!" She argued as she yanked her arm from his grip.

"that's besides the point. So, Justy-"

"I told you not to call me that." She groaned, throwing her head back as she rolled her eyes.

"- why do you want me to go out with Kate? Have you lifted your self-inflicted no boys rule after all?" A smirk crossed his face as his eyebrows danced up and down.

She pointed a finger at him. "never. But I need to get out of dinner at the Thatchers and the only way I could do that is a date."

Bill scrunched his nose, almost in disgust it seemed. "how'd you guys bag that?"

"my sister, Julia, got noticed by him at school." Justine replied and rolled her eyes. Ever since Julia saw her name on the notice board from Jess Thatcher, she couldn't stop gushing over him. She spent every waking moment with Justine talking and talking about him non stop.

"vile creature, good luck to her." Bill muttered under his breath before speaking up again. "so, you want me to go out with Kate, but tell my parents I'm going out with you, so you can get out of dinner with them?"

With enthusiasm, Justine nodded. "yes and- and, it's got'a be somewhere deep into the city."

"deal." Her eyes lit up with excitement and a grin tugged at the corners of her lips. "on one condition," But it faded just as fast as it appeared.

And so, it was set. That night, Justine was to be Bill's fake date in which he'd actually go out with Kate, who wrote for the Journal and in return, Justine would pay for it all, to her dismay. She would think that being the son of one of the most powerful men in New York, he would be able to pay for a date with a girl.

At 6:00pm on the dot, Finch was already leaning onto the railing of the balcony with a devious grin on his face. Justine rolled her eyes at him and opened the doors before ushering him into her room. He had only been there for seconds when he already started to get on her nerves, walking at the speed of a turtle into her room.

It already took her everything in her power to retain from strangling him.

He scanned her bottom to top. "you look nice."

That mere statement almost broke her.

"save it." She grumbled and motioned to his boots, in which he took them off and left them on the balcony. "we don't have much time, come on."
