Alex Cameron's POV
I groaned at the sound of my phone ringing, only making my stomach more upset. At least I'm in the bathroom connected to my room.
I grabbed my phone. Or course it's Stephanie. I could just hand up. I weakly smiled at my thoughts but answered the phone.
"What?" I mumbled.
"Why the hell did you answer? You should be at work. The fuck!?" Pure confusion in her voice.
What if... "Haha, you have reached my voicemail. You can talk at the beep. But if you are Stephanie, I won't lisent to it." I felt something in my throat, again.
"Beep."
"Rude much. What are you doing home?" She tried to cut me off at the beep. "You better tell me or I'm breaking down your door." Or get a key from Carter. I'd rather not replace a door. "You got five seconds till I come and barge in.... Five .... Four... Thre-"
I dropped my phone while turning towards the toilet. Then I threw up, almost out my nose. I feel like crying because of how sick I feel.
"So that's why." I heard her mutter. "Fuck I got work.. I'm calling Carter!" She yelled.
"No-" I got cut off by more puke. I'm going to go back to bed, I didn't want to puke again.
Vete a la mierda Stephanie.

Carter's POV
Ember was running late. Apparently her alarm didn't go off and she missed the buss, she is walking here. Well she's probably already here.
It's like second period? I don't know, nore do I care. I'm on my way to biology. So whatever period that is. Why would I pay attention to it, I don't like most my classes anyway.
Just as I was about to walk through the door my phone rang. Fuck. I forgot to put it on silent after Ember called this morning.
I took my phone out, to my surprise it was Stephanie. Oh lord.
I braced myself before answering. "Hmph, Stephanie. What do you want?"
"Wow, no hi, hello, good morning? You and Alex are so similar."
"Have you met yourself and Ember!? Don't even get me started on that." I could go on for forever. "Now, what? I have to get to class." I rushed her.
"It's Alex." I swear I stopped breathing for a solid thirty seconds. I didn't listen to anything else but Stephanie. "She is.. sick, I believe. Well definitely, she was throwing up when I called. And she actually picked up the phone! I have work and I didn't know what to do-"
"All good." I cut her off, I'm already walking fast to the front of the school. "You go to work. School has been cut short for today! Thank you, Stephanie. Goodbye." I hung up and ran out the doors to my car.
"Go get your girl." Miss Kelly muttered something like that as she passed me.
Looks like I'm skipping her class. But Alex is definitely more important than school, anything really. I don't care if I just skipped half a day of school. I got bigger problems.
As for work, I have plenty of personal days left still.
I started the car as I threw everything into the passengers side. Then I was off.
___
I ran up to the door, nearly dropping everything as I tried to put my stuff in my pocket. I tried the door without using my key, didn't work so I grabbed my keys from my pocket.
