It was about 11pm on a Saturday evening and Ting and the two gods were sitting on a couch watching TV. "Ughhh...nothing interesting?" Ting exhaled, half-sitting, half-lying on the couch. "There surely must be at least one show that peaks my interest..." While she was desperately trying to find a programme to watch, the two gods were just sitting there. On her right was Tianji, who looked tired and on her left was Dikui, who was looking at the programmes that were flashing through the screen, looking if anything interests him or if he should go outside. After a very long five minutes of clicking the same button, Dikui stood up. "I'm going outside. Tianji, you coming?" Tianji was surprised, Dikui never invites other people with him outside, especially at night when he wants to be alone. "Sure, I guess. But where are we going?" Tianji had nothing to do anyway, but he was quite tired, so he hoped it wasn't too far. Dikui turned into a cat and was about to jump off the balcony, but then realised Tianji can't do that. "Turn into a phone and let me handle the fall." Dikui said with a blank stare. "Aaaalright? Is that safe though?" he asked, but turned into a phone and Dikui took him in his mouth and jumped off. On the ground, as Dikui was in his human form and Tianji fell into his arms (because a certain cat can't be careful), they both blushed and Dikui put him down. They walked by the empty street under the streetlights without a word until Tianji spoke up. "Soooo...why did you invite me with you? Is it something serious or do you just need company, because I can be a good company to be honest. Also, you know Ting is alone without me right now, what if something-" A finger was put on his mouth by Dikui to silence him and he blushed. "Yeah, I just need company. But not just any company. I wanted you...to come with me. Ahem." He put his finger off Tianji's mouth and they stood face-to-face to each other in complete silence. "Uhhh...Dikui, you're staring at me weird...?" Dikui snapped back to reality after staring into a pair of beautiful eyes he never fully noticed before. What was this feeling? Why did he invite him to come along? "Sorry. Let's move on-" "Dikui." Tianji grabbed his wrist as he was trying to walk away. "Dikui, you can tell me anything. Is something bothering you? Can I help in any way?" That's right. He could tell Tianji anything. He always did. He trusts him the most in the world. But not this. This feeling...it makes him feel like he wants to keep it away from him even though it hurts. "It's nothing, just wanted some fresh air." "With me?" "Yes. With you. Now come on, you dummy, let's get walking." They walked and talked throughout the night and came back around 1am. "Where were you, Tianji?!" Ting jumped at him angry. "O-outside? I thought you knew!" "No I didn't and I remembered that I had to call dad about the kotatsu he was going to deliver to me!!" After a little threatening by Ting, they all went to sleep (well, Ting was laying on her bed, her insomnia beating her up like a punchbag).
