"How do you always manage to mess these up Ao'nung, it's a simple knot" I pushed him out of the way and started to fix, what he messed up. "He messes them up so you'll fix them, as you always do" Rotxo called from behind me. I stopped untying the knot and looked at Ao'nung as I stood up. He had a stupid smirk on his face, trying to hold back laughter. I picked up the net and shoved it into his chest and started walking towards Rotxo. "Wait, Y/n you aren't done fixing it" He shouted.

Once I was standing next to Rotxo, I turned around and folded my arms across my chest, glaring at Ao'nung. "I've already done my duties for today, that net is your problem and if it's not right, that's also your problem" I gave him a smug smirk. He rolled his eyes at me, but before he got a chance to respond to what I said, the horn blew. It was very faint but we could still hear it. I looked at Ao'nung and then at Rotxo, all of us sharing the same confused expression.

"We should get back to the main island" Rotxo said. I nodded my head, just as Tsireya rode in on her ilu. "Come. There are new comers on the main island." The three of us got into the water, calling for our ilu. Tsireya waited for me, as Ao'nung and Rotxo sped off. "Do you think the new comers are safe or dangerous" Tsireya asked me as I got onto my ilu. "Let's hope safe" I huffed out.

We rode off towards the main island, the stray water attacked my face. Tsireya slowed down and so did I. "Such a huge crowding" She mumbled under her breath. "Yeah no kidding, look over there" I said pointing to the giant winged creatures. Tsireya chuckled, "Definitely not other sea people. Come on" She dove off her ilu. Before I got off, I locked eyes with one of the new comers. I dove into the water and walked up the warm sand, following Reya.

I walked behind Reya, but kept locking eyes with the new comer. I looked to my right and saw Rotxo and Ao'nung. I headed over to them. "Look, what is that. Is that supposed to be a tail" Rotxo said pointing to the new comer's tail. Earning a laugh from Ao'nung and a few of the others. "That is too small, how are they supposed to swim" Rotxo chuckled.

I slapped Rotxo's hand away, causing him to lower it. " Do not Rotxo, Ao'nung". Ao'nung rolled his eyes at me and Rotxo gave me a disgusted look. "Stop acting like babies and be respectful. The both of you" I whispered to them. I let out a sigh and turned towards the new comers.

"Hey" One of them spoke semi-confidentially. I bowed my head and laughed, before giving him a bright smile. Tsireya joined the rest of us, standing and waiting for our parents to arrive. "How do you feel about them so far" Tsireya asked, leaning down slightly. I scanned over the family once more, "Looks like two brother, two sisters and the parents" I whispered to her.

Rotxo stepped closer to us and leaned down. "They are Forest people, why would Forest people be so far away from home" Rotxo asked. "We are about to find out" Ao'nung said, once he saw our parents.

"I see you, Tonowari" The father of the new comers spoke boldly.  My father smiled at all of the new comers, as the children also greeted him. My mother stepped through the crowd, not looking very pleased with the current situation. "I see you, Ronal" The two parents spoke, greeting my mother, but she kept the same expression.

"Why do you come to us Jake Sully?" My father's voice was power-filled. "We seek uturu" Jake Sully exclaimed while gesturing to his family. "Uturu?" My mother elevated her voice. "Yes, sanctuary for my family." Jake said, his voice lined with hints of pleads. Tonowari paused for a split second, before Ronal started to walk towards the family.

"We are Reef people. You are Forest people. Your skills will mean nothing here." Jake extended his hands out in front of him.  Well, we will learn your ways." He turned to his mate, "Am I right?" He asked her. "Yes" She said softly as Ronal grabbed ahold of her tail. Ronal grabbed the little girl's arm, earning stares from the child's mother. "There arms are thin" Ronal exclaimed loudly.

I watched as the little girl moved away from my mother, clinging to hers. "Mom.." She mumbled out in fear. Ronal walked over to the older sister, and grabbed her tail "Their tails.." "Ow" The older girl yelped out, pushing Ronal's hand away and holding her tail. "Are weak" She finished. Ronal locked eyes with Jake Sully's mate, "You will be slow in the water" Ronal was going to say something, but quickly grabbed the older girl's hands.

"These children..are not even true Na'vi." She yelled out, holding the girl's hands up. Gasps could be heard all through the crowd. Ao'nung put his hand on my shoulder, stepping closer to me, glaring down the family. "Dad.." The girl mumbled, looking back at her father. There was a long silence. "Yes we are!" The girl shouted, pulling her hands away from Ronal.

Ronal walked over to one of the brothers, the one that said hey to me earlier. He looked so shameful, as he looked down, allowing Ronal to raise his hand in the air. I felt kind of bad for him and his sister. "They have demon blood" Ronal shouted, once again causing others to gasp. Some of my people growled and hissed. Ao'nung looked at Tsireya and then at me. He cleared his throat once he saw my only reaction was interest and not disgust.

"Look, Look" Jake Sully said holding up his hand for Ronal to see. "Look, I was born of the Sky People, and now I am Na'vi. All right? You can adapt. We will adapt. Okay?" Jake Sully again spoke boldly. His mate stepped out from behind him, staring at Ronal. "My husband was Toruk Makto" She spoke with pride. Jake scrunched up his face at the mention of the name. "He led the clans to victory against the Sky People." She turned her attention from Ronal to Tonowari, earning a slight nod of the head from him.

"This you call victory? Hiding among strangers?" Ronal spoke harshly. His mate bowed her head and closed her eyes, as if she were shameful. Ronal stepped closer to her, locking eyes. "It seems Eywa has turned her back on you, Chosen one" She said turning to Jake. His mate instantly hissed at Ronal, causing Ronal to hiss back.  Tonowari watched the situation, very confused and so did Jake Sully. I looked at the brothers, who were watching their mother.

"I apologize for my mate. She's...-"

"Do not apologize for me"

"-flown a long way, and she's exhausted"

"Jake"

He gave her a look and she huffed, returning to her spot. I looked at my father who seemed very confused. "Toruk Makto is a great war leader. All Na'vi people know his story. But we Metkayina...are not at war". I watched as Jake picked up his youngest daughter, it made me smile. "We cannot let you bring your war here." Tonowari said softly. "I'm done with war. Okay? I just want to keep my family safe."

My parents exchanged looks. "No way they let them stay here." Rotxo whispered to Ao'nung. Ao'nung had a smirk creep onto his face. I hit Ao'nung on the side and hit Rotxo's arm. "Would you two stop acting like that, they are in need of help." I whispered and they both rolled their eyes. "Uturu has been asked." The mother spoke softly, looking at my parents.

"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. Now, they do not know the sea. So they will be like babies, taking their first breath. Teach them our ways, so they do not suffer the shame of being useless." Tonowar said looking at Jake.

"Okay. What do we say?" Jake said to his family. A different mix of thank you's came from the Forest family.  "My son Ao'nung, and our daughters Tsireya and Y/n, will show your children what to do." I gave the little girl a smile, as Tsireya nodded her head. "Father why do..-"

"It is decided." I put my hand over my mouth as I giggled at Ao'nung. Tonowari gave Tsireya a look and she nodded. " Come. I will show you our village." Reya cheered happily as she led the family through the village. "Y/n." My mother called for me. I walked to her and stood before her. "Yes mother?" I spoke with respect. "Keep an eye on your bother, he is clearly not happy with your father and I's decision." She spoke loud enough for Ao'nung to hear her. I nodded my head and she dismissed us.
