"Hanni, I have an assignment for you. This will be your first ever output on the Literature team," Jiheon-unnie, the head of the club, came to me as I worked on a task. I stood up and nod at her.

"Of course, unnie. What is it?"

She smile and handed me a paper, "I want you to work on the team's monthly creative letter that would be distributed to all the students in the campus. You can choose whatever theme you want, it's all up to you."

I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands. After a few seconds, I pointed at myself for confirmation. Jiheon-unnie laughed and nodded.

"Yes, Hanni. I'm counting on you for that. You can do it, right?" she asked.

I still could not process anything she said but I nodded at her, "I-I will do my best, unnie."

She smiled brightly at me and tap my shoulder, "I believe in you. You can ask Minji or Rei for help or advice. They know what to do." With one last tap on my shoulder, she exited the room.

I mindlessly sat on my chair and stared ahead. Can I even do it? What do I do? What theme should I use?

"Hanni-ya, are you okay?" I was snapped out of my trance when I felt a pat on my head. I looked up and saw Minji's angelic face, looking down at me with worry. I don't know, but seeing her suddenly made my mind be at ease. I almost forgot how to breathe when she leaned and stared at me with worry in her eyes. "What's wrong?"

I stared at her for a couple more seconds and hugged her. I don't even know why I did that, but I just feel like hugging her. I was excited and nervous at the same time. I felt her freeze at first but hugged me back.

"Minji.... Jiheon-unnie told me to do this month's Creative letters... and I'm excited but nervous too! I don't know where to start," I said and hugged her tighter. I heard her gasp softly and pat my head.

"Really? That's great then! That will be your first ever published work as a member of the team! I'm so happy for you, Hanni!"

I pulled away and smiled brightly at her. I feel like my heart's about to burst seeing her smile and the proud look on her face.

"Will you be my mentor with this assignment, Minji? I'd like you to teach me everything about this and I know I could only understand all of it if you're the one who'll guide me," I asks with hopeful eyes.

"I'd be happy to show you everything then. Let's schedule some days that we both aren't busy then we'll work on it together."

Smiling widely, I nodded like a kid. This feels like hitting two birds in one stone.

"Danielle Marsh!" I stormed inside our apartment and dropped my bag on the couch. She appeared from the kitchen in a panicked expression.

"What?! What's wrong??" she came and wiped her flour-stained hands on her apron. Oh, she's baking again.

I grinned at her and engulfed her in a tight hug, catching her off-guard.

"Dani! I'll be doing this month's Creative letter and Minji's helping me," I squealed and rocked her back and forth.

"Yah! Unnie! I thought you got into trouble just now. You could've just told me in a calmer way," she pulled away and glared at me. I laughed because I noticed her forehead that was stained with flour.

"Tell me how could I calm down. I just joined the team a week ago, bro!" I say as I let myself fall on the couch, while looking at the ceiling.

"Good point. Anyway, congratulations, unnie!! I'm proud of you," Dani say with a genuine smile. I did the same.
