Château Willoughby.
Walking into the Palace of Willoughby is extremely pleasant and satisfying.
Mum loves to keep it classy but colourful because she doesn't want to live in black and white, I am fully on board with that idea. There's a variety of different plants — magical and normal — all in different colours. At the front gates, there are vines and pink roses. Dad isn't a big fan of colours, apart from the shades of black he likes dark green, he's gotten used to it and he likes to say "anything for Her Grace."
Cringe.
There's a lake beside Willoughby, not as large or deep as the Black Lake but it's still a big body of water. There are fishes and other small creatures that live inside, swans swim around all the time. Though, we kind of lost one last year so now there are eleven. You can cross the lake by walking on a bridge that will take you to the gardens, Mum's favourite place. Usually, you would meet the groundskeeper in the morning as he takes that way to get to further grounds.
I smell the sweet scent of the roses as I walk past the front entrance. Camden's such a prick, he didn't even bother waiting for me to get off the train. Good thing our driver, Mr McCoy is patient, knows how to do his damn job and waited for me because I know for a fact Camden would've told him to just abandon me at the station.
"Adria!" Mum and Dad hug me, I hug them back. "Glad to know you've come home in one piece." Mum sighs.
I spot Camden already on the couch eating some biscuits as he decided to run through the garden to get home first. I can't believe that this is the future Duke. He's going to graduate from Hogwarts next year which is quite a shame as I won't see him very often anymore.
I head upstairs to my bedroom, I was told that my items have been sent to my parents so, where is all my stuff? Nothing is on my bed or the floor. Did my stuff get lost, no, please. Who the hell was in charge of sending my stuff because they did a very bad job. That would mean Camden's stuff is gone too, probably.
"Mum, have you seen my luggage!" I shout, no answer. Running down the hallway and the stairs I ask again, "Where's my stuff?"
Mum looks up to me from the couch, "With the Malfoys."
"Come again?"
"With the Malfoys, Adriana," Dad says softly from his armchair.
"With the what?"
No. No. No. No. NO.
"Are you okay?" Camden shouts and I am indeed not okay. "Your ears are a bit off!"
No. I've never felt so much more hurt, or betrayed in my life. They said one dinner, my parents had lied to me and now I'm getting shipped off. Forever. I can't lose everything I have, my family and especially my dignity. What have I ever done to deserve this sort of punishment?
"No please." I step all the way down from the stairs. "Please don't disown me." Camden laughs the moment he heard what I said. "What are you laughing about, your sister is being sent away!"
Mum starts to join the laugh. "Adriana, please think."
Dad grins. "We are staying with the Malfoys for the summer."
Oh.
WAIT WHAT-
My mother and father continue to tell me that they have some business to sort out with the Malfoys so, it would be easier if they just take us with them. I don't and can't utter a single sound. Just constant eye twitching.
