A week had passed since the footage had been leaked, and no one had seen Tenko. The moment he'd found out what happened, he disappeared completely and refused to tell anyone where he was. He'd turned off his phone, and being an experienced villain he knew exactly how to hide and avoid being seen. While both classes A and B searched for him, those in work studies had to take a hiatus to fight the Shie Hissaikai. They'd managed to finally take Overhaul down, and now he was being transported to the prison. There'd been no casualties in the raid, and although Sir Nighteye had been critically injured in the attack, he had chosen to fight fate just as Izuku had. He wasn't going to die, not when both the boys needed a mentor, especially Mirio who'd lost his quirk.
Overhaul's transport was going smoothly at this point. The transport had gotten on the freeway a while ago, and they were making excellent progress. However, the officers were all taken aback as a large truck swung into the lane in front of them, its back doors wide open. Magne and Mr. Compress were both in the back, staring down the front car.
Compress then lifted up a hand, three blue pearls in between his fingers. He flicked all three down onto the road one by one, timing his attack perfectly before releasing the objects inside. All three cars in the transport flipped up and to the side, stalling traffic completely as Spinner brought the truck to a stop.
Compress and Magne both hopped out of the car and wandered toward the main transport vehicle, ignoring the officers who groaned as they tried to get out of their police cars. The two broke open the door, staring Chisaki down before dragging him out of the truck.
"Hello again," Compress greeted. "I see you've found yourself in quite the situation."
"What are you gonna do, kill me?" Chisaki questioned.
"It wouldn't be wise to discard such a powerful ally," Compress replied. "You'll get the chance to fight again, if you join us this time."
"Why would I do that? My only goal is to protect the Shie Hissaikai."
"In time, we will assist you in doing so. But first, we must prepare to fight for All For One's vision."
"I don't care about All For One."
"Oh, but you might change your mind if we offer you a deal," Compress tried. "If you join our cause and fight with us as part of the League, we will procure for you the girl you lost to those kids." He suddenly raised a hand, holding the boxes of chemicals Chisaki had created.
"And you'll get to keep these serums, rather than having us take them for ourselves."
Chisaki pondered over the offer for a moment. "Fine, I'll join you," he conceded. "But you better stick to your end of the deal."
"Of course," Compress replied, reaching down to the restraints that held Chisaki's hands and removing them with his quirk. "Welcome to the cause, friend."
"You won't get away that easily!" A gruff voice suddenly shouted as Chisaki stood up. The three of them immediately looked over at the source of the sound, and suddenly Snatch was present and charging toward them, having been the closest hero nearby to the commotion.
But clearly the hero had underestimated the power of his opponents. He'd charged in without thinking much, something he'd nearly come to regret as Compress held out his hand to capture him. Snatch tried to stop but his momentum kept him flying forward toward certain doom...
Compress was suddenly shoved out of the way, and Magne and Chisaki both gasped as they looked over and saw Hokori had been the one to do it. Snatch finally stopped his charge and stood behind Tenko, ready to provide him backup if he needed it.
"Ah, Tomura," Compress announced, giving a dramatic bow. "It's been a while."
"Shut up, you traitor," Hokori hissed. "Don't talk to me like we're still friends."
