Tony Stark died in 2023. alsoooooo, I'm alive. Sorry I haven't updated in a while.
"Piper, hey, wake up," I heard.
I opened my eyes to see Bruce Banner. Not the Hulk-Bruce he'd made himself just regular old him.
"What the hell," I groaned
"What happened? Did we win?" Bruce asked.
"Yeah, Bruce, you need to go back," I stated. Why is he here? Wasn't the soul stone returned?
"I died," Bruce said.
"When they return the stone you will return. It's a soul for a soul. The exchange will take you back."
"What about you?" he interjected.
"Well, I killed Thanos. I snapped the stones. I don't even know what's going to happen to me. I thought I was going to die."
"Ok, explain from the top. What happened?" Bruce asked.
"You mean like from after the snap?"
"We have time."
"Ok, It starts with me being in space. I'd jumped out of a moving bus because there were aliens in New York city and I had to protect this guy named Steven Strange. I looked him up later and he was a prestigious neurosurgeon that lost his job after wrecking his car and destroying the nerve endings in his hands. Back on track, I was in space when everyone there turned to dust but me. Tony had learned of my identity up there in space. Anyway, me and an alien I became friends with went back and I was immediately told I was too young and the avengers basically kicked me to the curb. With no idea what to do I went back home and my adoptive mother had turned to dust."
"Adoptive mother?" he asked.
"Oh uh... Yeah black widow adopted me back when I was 16. Anyway... My girlfriend's parents had both turned to dust so me and her shared the apartment and I received a letter in the mail from the SI security team. It said that I was 5th in the line of succession for CEO of Stark Industries and that the people ahead of me had all turned to dust or blipped. I became acting CEO on the terms that no one would know who the CEO was so A) I wouldn't get kicked out for being 17 B) because I didn't want to handle press. I paid for my friend Ned's house so his dad could keep it and retire. His lola also moved there. Lola means grandma. They both taught me tagalog because I'm obsessed with learning new languages.
"Anyway, I got my bachelors degree in senior year of highschool and 3 doctorates in the 3 years following. Before I- er.. Whatever this is I had planned on taking a break and focusing more on the morgan stark foundation and being CEO. Me and MJ took care of Morgan Stark due to the fact that I was listed as alternate caregiver. MJ and I got married right after I got my second PhD. Anyway, the Avengers had cut ties at this point, I only saw you guys on the news.
"I got a knock on the door and when I opened it there was Antman, Captain America, and Clint Barton standing there. I closed the door in their face. They knocked again and I opened it. They told me about what happened to you and your attempt at time travel. I explained what you did wrong and while I really wanted to slam the door in their face and not care, Morgan ran up to me and hugged my leg and asked who was at the door and I just- I couldn't let her grow up without her parents. So, I told them I'd let them know what I found out. That night I stayed up until about 3 in the morning and I created a device that could safely transport a person through time. And then I gave Morgan a juice pop because she was awake.
"MJ hated me. I woke her up at 3 am to tell her. She told me it was worse than the spider I was given as a joke at my wedding. But she came with me and we all gathered to get the stones. I of course threatened everyone so they wouldn't declare me too young. Which I mean, had I listened, you guys would've never defeated Thanos after he came out of the quantum portal and I would've died anyway."
