~Summary~
Princess Enid needs to find a suitor to save her kingdom. However, the only suitable one is a girl.

"Enid you must marry to save the crown" Queen Esther argued 
"Mother I think I am fully capable of taking care of the throne without any alongside me" their voices echoed in the throne room 
"This isn't up for debate. The decision is final. Now if you could please go get some rest we have a lot to do tomorrow" The king and queen stood up and left Princess Enid with her anger 
Enid made her way back to her room where she was fuming with rage 
"I can't believe my parents don't think I'm capable of running the kingdom by myself" She paced back and forth 
A knock at the door brought her back to reality 
"Your majesty, do you need help with your gown"
"Yes please" the wolf princess sighed 
"Anita do you think I'm capable of running this place alone," she asked the maid 
"Yes ma'am" the maid agreed 
Finally, the princess went to bed with her mind still racing 


Another knock at the door woke up the princess 
"Can I come in princess?" 
"Yes" Enid sat up in her bed
"I brought you breakfast. The queen has requested your presence after breakfast and she has requested that you are dressed for the day" 
The princess rolled her eyes and made her way out the door 
One of the palace assistants caught up with Princess Enid 
"Your majesty, the queen has summoned you to the dining room"
They made their way over 
"Ah, Enid you look so beautiful" the queen gave her a quick hug "Now we have a full day of meeting suitors so I want everyone to be on their best behavior. They'll be here soon"
"Mother I don't want to"
"Enid" the queen scolded 
"Now let's go to the throne room" 
Everyone followed the queen close behind 

"King Murray and Queen Esther of Chicago" the bellman called as they entered the room full of possible suitors 
"Princess Enid of Chicago" the wolf entered the room with all eyes on her 
She quickly sat down 
Soon enough more names were being announced 
"Prince Xavier Thorpe"
She recognized that name 
The prince came up to her and bowed before kissing her hand 
"Your Highness" he gave her a smile 
She smiled back awkwardly 
"Prince Ajax Petropolus"
Another name she recognized 
Her mother was trying to set her up with her friends 
"Princess" Ajax bowed 
"Ajax you don't have to do that" she smiled 
"But you're a princess"
"This is embarrassing enough" the wolf princess rolled her eyes
