SNOW NIEVES was angry. seconds ago she was sprawled on the concrete ground of the basketball court bleeding from her hand and chin because of a stupid basketball that someone all the way on the other side of the court had thrown at her head.

though her friends rushed to her side and helped her up, she needed to give that person a piece of her mind. she isn't this outspoken but she was literally bleeding and that was a problem.

"are we gonna beat him up?" her friend yvette jumped in down behind snow as she hustled towards the group of boys in which the ball came from along with the other friends.

"yeah! let's beat them up!" yvette's twin jasper yelled.

"not with those skinny arms," adrienne piped up with an innocent grin.

"shut up, ugly," he replied , sticking his tongue out.

"uglier."

"ugliest."

"ugly-"

"nah!" jasper interrupted her. he grinned. "i win."

"guys be quiet i'm trying to think of what to say!" snow shouted, trying to calm her nerves. she wanted to give them a piece of her mind but she didn't even know if it was then who did or if they were going to kill her or anything.

she was trying to enjoy a peaceful day at the park before school starts in two days and she'll be a sophomore. is that too much to freaking ask?!

"just punch them in the face!" yvette shrugged like it was so simple. snow has literally never hurt anybody in her life, that show knows of. she just can't. but she can sure say a mouthful and that's exactly what she intended to do.

that was until she saw the boys turn around and reveal their beautiful faces.

snow stopped in her tracks, yvette bumped into her, adrienne and jasper following shortly behind.

"snow what the hell-" yvette slowly looked up at the towering boys before us.

there were five of them so the main man can lead in the middle and he could have two friends on each of his side. it was a little cliche but art imitates life right?

snow gulped.

"umm?" the middle one, the most handsome with his fair skin, his fierce black monolid eyes that challenged snow, and tall fit body, spoke up. he shifted the basketball in his hands and jerked his head ever so slightly to move the strands of black hair out of his eyes. "what do you want?"

hmm he has an accent?

yvette pinched snow's side but snow's ticklish ribs caused her to jerk her body forward, her scared faced meeting with rough dirty basketball in the guy's hands and then bouncing back in adrienne's arms who was there to catch her.

jasper snickered beside his sister along with the basketball crew before them.

oh crap. why the heck am I being sooo embarrassing? snow asked herself, wiping the pebbles off her red skin.

"look little girl we got better stuff to do then listen to you complain or whatever," a guy on his crew piped up, earning nods from the rest of them.

"all i want is for you to apologize," snow crossed her arms.

"yeah i can do that," he shrugged, running a hand through his dark smooth hair. "I'm sorry little girl."

snow rolled her eyes. "that's not a real apology! my hands are bleeding, my face is scratched and burning all because of you and your crew."

"look little girl we are all sorry, okay? we done here?" the same crew member from before piped up, getting ready to leave.

snow was getting angrier. all she wants to do is accept that they did something wrong and then they can all go home. but no! they wanted to comment on her size and her old shirt she was wearing that said "tree hill elementary school"(which wasn't really helping her case).  she wasn't going to let this slide.

her inner yvette must have eripted in her because her next words and actions knocked the boys off their feet.

"the only thing little here is your tiny little dicks!" she exclaimed, her cheeks flaming red and fists tight in a ball.

adrienne gasped behind her, pinching yvette's shoulder while jasper held a hand to his mouth in shock.

the boys in front of snow unconsciously reached for their private parts as if to protect it from her vicious words. the basketball fell from the guy in the middle who's jaw was clenched in anger.

as if snow lost a few of her brain cells, she quickly picked up the ball as the boys processed the words they said.

Yvette whispered in snows ear, "girl what the heck are you going to do?"

"i don't know!" snow yelled a little to loud, making everyone jump. with shaking hands she launched the ball at the boys, yelling "run!!!"

"oh shizzle!" jasper grabbed his sisters collar and yanked him towards him and adrienne who had already dipped on poor snow who was being chased by the angry boys.

the feeling was exhilarating yet scary. snow just hurt these guys masculinity and threw a basketball at them. her mom would be ashamed if she heard her poor daughter was not only talking to older boys but threatening them.

"oh my gosh what the heck did i do," snow mumbles, jumping over a tree's gigantic root and following the path of her friends before her, never daring to look back at the screaming guys.

little did she know it wouldn't be the last time she saw those boys.
