I think it's so crazy that I ended up with Devon, thee Devon Evans. I am currently curled up with the boy of my dreams on his bed and we aren't even halfway through the year yet. I wouldn't have thought in my wildest dreams that I would even be friends with Devon, let alone what we were. I think he's my Boyfriend, but we've never really had the conversation. Every time I try to bring it up, I get to nervous and can't bring myself to do it. A part of me thinks that he's gonna be rude somehow and get mad at me for asking as if we don't kiss everyday. I know that I'm scared for no reason, but I can't get the feeling to go away.

The fall breeze was crisp and cold against my skin. It was my favorite time of the year because of how beautiful it looked. The trees were all yellow and gold. The nights were long and the days short and cold. It was the perfect weather for sweaters and tea. My two favorite things in the world. But as much as I love them, they can't compare to Devon. His wide smile can brighten anyone's day as well as his beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Holding his hand was the best part of my day. In our classes we just talk and talk instead of paying any attention. At lunch we talk more, if we're not kissing somewhere. We usually hide in the library so we could have some sort of privacy. He's my favorite person in the world.

Right now, we were behind a dusty bookshelf in the school's library. The shelf's were scares towards the back of the large room were we reside, but we made do. We sit on the floor, leaning on the books. I rested my hand on his shoulder, and his hand in mine. I cant pay attention to what we where currently talking about, my mind trying to fathom how I was able to be with him. Something in me was squirming, trying to find its way out. I knew what it was-the question. He seemed to notice as wells.

"Jake," he started, his voice soft and gentle. Just like him. "Are you ok?" He asked me, his doe eyes staring into mine.

I shied as I took my head away from him, siting so that I was face to face with him. "Can I ask you something?" He looked puzzled, maybe with a touch of fear.

"Um..." he paused, thinking about all the outcomes of my troubling tone, all of them bad I assume. He took a deep breath before answering. "...Anything."

I exhaled, my warm breath lingering on my lips. "Are we together?" I asked "Like Boyfriends?"

He let out his breath and smiled. "That's your question?" He asked.

Maybe I was just overthinking everything. "Um yeah." I said.

He leaned in closer to me, close enough that his breath escaping his nose was on my face. Our lips connected soon after, then broke apart. "Of course we are." He smiled.

"Good" I said. "Because I can't imagine being with anyone else."
