Josh's POV:

I woke up with the sun shining in my face and smiled. It was finally the weekend which meant a break from school and a break from being bullied by Mully. I slowly stood up and walked over to my wardrobe and picked out my favourite black hoodie and black beanie. I quickly put them on before going downstairs to make breakfast.

"Morning Josh. There's pancakes on the stove for you." My mum said and I smiled at her.

"Thanks Mum." I replied before walking into the kitchen and picking up the plate of pancakes that had been left on the stove. I then sat down at the bench and began to eat slowly as I took my phone out to text Gaege and Eddie.

J: Hey boys! What are the plans for today?

G: Maybe we can go out somewhere. Like an arcade or something.

E: An arcade sounds amazing. Should we meet at Josh's?

J: Yeah, meet at mine in half an hour. Then we'll go to the arcade in Eddie's car.

G: Alright. See you soon boys!

I then turned my phone off as I quickly finished my pancakes before running upstairs to get properly dressed. I took a pair of black ripped jeans out of my cupboard and slipped them on before walking over to my desk to grab some cash before going back downstairs to wait for my two friends to arrive.

Gaege's POV:

After we had met up at Josh's house we hopped into Eddie's car, and he drove us to the arcade which was about a ten-minute drive away. When we arrived, we hopped out of the car and walked inside as we scanned the arcade looking at all the cool games that we would be able to play. Josh walked in front of us and I took Eddie's hand as we followed behind him.

"Any ideas on what we should do first?" Josh asked as he looked from game to game. I looked at Eddie and shrugged my shoulders.

"Can we do one of the shooting games?" I asked and Josh quickly turned around to look at me so Eddie and I quickly let go of each other's hand.

"What a surprise." Josh replied rolling his eyes and I laughed as we started to look for a two shooter game. We soon found one and Eddie and I stepped towards the game and paid to play.

"All we have to do is shoot the deer." I stated as I quickly glanced over at Eddie.

"Sounds easy." He replied and I quietly laughed as the game started. We started to shoot every deer we saw and the game progressively got harder and harder. We soon finished the game and got a twenty out of twenty-five score. Eddie and I put the guns down before high fiving each other. Josh quietly clapped behind us.

"Good job. Can we go find a different game now?" Josh asked and Eddie and I rolled our eyes.

"Fine. Let's go." Eddie replied as he grabbed my hand and we followed behind Josh again as he looked for a game that appealed to him. He soon stopped in front of basketball shooting game and I groaned.

"You picked the most boring game ever." I complained and Eddie laughed at me.

"Shut up and let me have fun." He replied as he paid to play the game. He started shooting the balls getting most of the shots. Eddie and I were quite impressed at how good he was at it. He then finished the game and turned back around to look at us. We started to clap and Josh bowed.

"You should become a professional basket ball player." Eddie stated and I agreed. Josh just shook his head.

"Nah, I'm way to short. Anyway, next game." Josh announced and we laughed as we followed him to the next game which Eddie got to choose. He chose the car racing one and I decided to also do it so I sat down on the one next to him. We slipped our coins in and Josh just stood back and watched.
