Episode 2 - Welcome to Duel Academy

                                    

                                          

It had been a few days after I had passed my Entrance Exam and I was currently on board the Helicopter heading towards Duel Academy as You stare out the window at the ocean Ahrima speaks to me.
Ahrima: Hey Kid I got a bone to pick with you!

You look around to make sure no one was listening after making sure the coast was clear you speak.

Y/N: What is it Ahrima?
Ahrima: I'd like for you to use me more and I don't mean just discarding me I mean actually summoning me to the field.

Y/N: Oh right sorry I'll make sure to do a better job of doing so in the future.

Ahrima: Good as long as we're on the same page.
He then leaves allowing you to back to go your thoughts as you look back out the window at the night sky.

Y/N: He's right maybe I need to give them more use in battle I should do so in my next duel, once I get settled in at Duel Academy I'll look for someone to duel...Yawn~ Man I'm tired I should get some rest since we've still got a bit before we arrive.

You adjust yourself in your seat and use your jacket as blanket to keep you warm as rest against your seat and drift off to sleep. While you slept you began having a strange dream of a strange looking shadowy being staring down at you with it's piercing glowing eyes as it then starts reaching it's shadowy hand out towards you right before it reaches you awaken to find yourself back on the Helicopter you look around to see mostly everyone else is awake and conversing with each other as it's now daytime.

Y/N: That was a weird dream I wonder what it could mean?

As you thought to yourself the voice of the pilot voice comes on over the intercom.

Pilot: Attention new duel academy students if you look outside your windows you'll see your new home away from home. Now now I know your excited but don't shove quite a sight eh, now then fasten your seatbelts and set your seats back to an upright position we're going in to land. Next stop academy island.

You do as the pilot said and get ready for the helicopter to land on the island you couldn't help but feel nervous. Eventually the helicopter lands on the Island as your guided to a room with a giant screen as bald man appeared with a smile.

Bald Man: Good morning and welcome my students I'm Chancellor Sheppard the head master here and you are the best and brightest young duelists in the world now please get yourselves settled in at your assigned dorms I think you'll find them quite comfortable depending upon how you ranked of course. Chuckles.

The man now know to you as Chancellor Sheppard finished giving his speech as you were all free to go off on your own, You leave the room and put on your new jacket belonging to the Slifer Red dorm. As you were walking down to where your dorm is located you hear someone call out to you, so you look behind you to see Jaden and Syrus approaching you both wearing Slifer Red Jackets as well.

Jaden: Hey (F/N) I see your in red too.

Y/N: Yep I was originally going to be put in Ra yellow due to my Performance and Written Test results but I asked to be placed in Slifer Red since I want to earn my way to Obelisk Blue and what better way to do so then from starting from the very bottom.

Jaden: Ha sweet also I saw your duel with Crowler and we have got to duel sometime.

Y/N: Heh well your in luck I was planning on looking for someone to duel after getting settled into the dorm so how about after the Welcome Dinner we have one.

Jaden: Ah yeah I'm already excited!

Y/N: Yeah same here but don't think I'll go easy on you! Smirks.
Jaden: Same here! He grins back excitedly.
You, Jaden and Syrus begin making your way to the Slifer Red dorm upon your arrive you notice it's more like a cabin then a dorm.
Syrus: This isn't a dorm it's like an outhouse with a deck.
Jaden: You kidding me check out the view this place is great.

Y/N: I don't have an issue as long as it's got a bed and it's warm and dry I'll take it.
