--Vodka And Vince--

                                    

                                          
Night fell and the group decided to head to the local bar to play some pool and take their mind off of everything. 
Maya got changed before heading there feeling icky from the hospital a few hours prior. 
When she got there she saw the group of teenagers at the back of the bar.
"Hey M!" Wes waves at the girl as she joins the group. She greets everyone and head over to her boyfriend and gave him a peck on the lips. 
"You looking cute girl, give us a little turn." He says causing Maya to giggle but she plays along with it and turns around dramatically. 
Everyone whoops towards her causing the whole bar to look over. Maya wanted to curl up in embarrassment but she just settles for running into her boyfriends arms. 
"Maya you up for an ass whooping." Mindy said pointing towards the pool table. 
"Bring it on sweet cheeks." Maya said stepping forward. Maya was always up for some friendly competition.
As Maya and Mindy start playing pool, Liv steps out of the bathroom. "So what is she like? The sister?" 
"Sam? Oh Sam is cool." Chad replies. 
"You only say that because she let you wear Pokémon onesies to bed for a year." Mindy laughs over at her brother.
"True. That's a true statement." He replies. Maya laughs from beside him and he looks toward her.
"What are you laughing at miss Hello Kitty Pjs." Chad says looking down at his girlfriend.
"Hey! Hello Kitty was super trendy back in those days." Maya said pushing Chad away to continue her winning streak in pool.
"No trust me. Sam is not cool. Her dad left her mom right. Walks right out when Tara's eight. Sam's thirteen. Sam started acting out, getting in trouble with the cops. And then on Sam's eighteen birthday she leaves. Ghosts them all." Amber explains to Liv while the others awkwardly listen. 
"Maybe she had a reason?" Maya speaks up trying to defend Sam. 
"Maybe Sam's changed I just don't want to see  Tara hurt again." Amber speaks out.
Wes wasn't very happy at this statement. "So what, you're protecting Tara from her own sister now?"
"Well someone has too."
"Okay so no guys are good enough for her, and now her family's off-limits too?" Wes and Amber bicker back and forth.
"Mmm motive. If I can't have her no one can." Mindy looks over to Wes.
"What?" he says in confusion.
"We know you have a crush on Tara."
"Come on Mindy." Wes complains.
Before he can complain any further Mindy speaks up. "But we're all suspects. Except maybe Liv." 
Liv seemed pleased at this. "Thank you."
Before Liv can celebrate further Mindy speaks up again. "You're way too boring to be a psycho."
Maya puts her hand on Liv's shoulder to comfort the girl. She then resorts back to the pool table right in front of her seeing all she had to do now was get the black ball in. 
She looked up at Mindy and gave the girl a quick smile before shooting the ball into the pocket. 
"Well played, Miss Adams." 
"You too, Miss Meeks Martin. However you do owe me a drink." Maya walks over to Mindy putting her hand out and Mindy hands her some money.
" You can't even get a drink here dude your underage." Wes points out. 
"I'm not dumb Wes. It's BYOB. Bring your own booze." Maya says grabbing a small bottle of vodka from her purse and then placing it back. 
"Want anything?" She asked the group but they all shake their heads no. 
Maya walks up to the bar waiting for service but all the bartenders seemed to be busy. 
"Hey baby" A voice says from behind her. Maya rolls her eyes recognizing the voice as Vince. 
"What do you want Vince." She says without turning around. 
He comes up beside her and she looks over to see if any of the group was seeing this. They were all distracted by the game of pool in front of them. 
Shit.
"Why are you so mad baby girl. Is it because I give Liv all the attention and not you? Trust me Maya you are one fine girl and I always thought that." Vince says moving closer to the girl.
"Really Vince because last time I checked I was under age when we started working together."
Vince ignored what she had last said. "Let me buy you a drink Maya." 
"Oh kiss my ass Vince." She said turning away from him to the bartender who was walking toward her. 
"Gladly." 
Maya felt something touch her ass. She stood in shook for a second as he kept his hand there for a long time. She felt rage build up inside of her chest. She decided to end his pleasure with a strong punch to his cheek. 
Vince folded over in pain cursing under his breath. Maya shook the pain away from her hand staring at the man who had just grabbed her.
He stood up anger surging through his features. "You fucking bitch. What the fuck!" He called out. 
Someone tapped Vince on the shoulder and he turned around to see who it was. He was met with a fist to the other cheek and he doubled over again. This time receiving the gift from Chad.
"Are you ok baby. I'm so sorry I didn't get here sooner. I turned around and saw him grab you. By the time I got here you took care of it." Chad said grabbing Maya's face. 
"I'm ok Chad." She said grabbing his hand. Looking back towards the creep.
"You motherfuckers!" Vince called out while taking out a knife from his pocket.
Chad puts a protective arm over his girlfriend pushing her behind him slightly.
"Hey, get out of here or I'm calling the cops." The bartender said. Calling and end to this fight.
"I'll see you soon." Vince winks towards the group.
"You kids too! Let's go." The bartender calls out once again. 
The group didn't argue with that as the mood changed automatically.
Chad took his girlfriend's hand and they walk towards the door.
"Maya, that was badass." Wes said from beside the girl.
"Truly, That was a power couple move. Double whammy from Chaya right there." Mindy said. 
"Really we are sticking with Chaya, why not Mad." Says Maya rubbing her hand which was going to be bruised for sure. 
"Nah Chaya just flows you know." Amber calls out. 
"I vote Chaya!" Liv talks up next.
Maya looks up at Chad and sees him smiling down at her. 
"You like Chaya too!" she pauses causing him to also stop.
"I think it's cute" He says shrugging.
"Ok Chaya it is then." Maya says continuing to walk towards her car.
At least she forgot about everything else going on in her life.
