After a while, we arrived at the oil rig in a speedboat. We split into two groups, Ghost took charlie team to the big container ship next to the oil rig while we arrived at the foot of the rig. One of the marines shot a rope over the edge so we could board, after everybody boarded and me and Soap were the last ones, he helped me use the rope and board the rig. Arriving at the bottom part of the rig Soap turns to me.

"Stay close behind me, you'll be fine."

I nod at him and follow close behind him, the team is pushing up to the main deck, eliminating any hostiles that they come across. They clear out every room until they enter the main deck. It's a big open space with lots of hostiles. Soap grabs my arm gently and pushes me behind one of the crates out of the enemy's line of sight.

"Stay here until it's safe, I'll clear the area."

The whole situation is very overwhelming, so much that I can barely proces it and talk at the same time. Therefor I was only able to give him a nod and then he leaves to take care of the enemy. I stayed hidden behind one of the crates and waited to hear back from Soap. After a little while I finally hear him shout.

"It's clear." He comes back to the crate where I was still hiding. I got up and followed him as we made our way towards the top of the rig. There was a single container decorating the top deck, once we arrived and Soap opened it up to see whats inside, I heard frustrated mumbling under his breath. It seemed that the container was empty, which only left us with a little bit of hope of the missile being on the ship with Ghost.

"The missile has to be on that ship!" Graves is speaking to his team through coms but because he was standing behind me, I could hear him yell. "Ghost we're moving to your position."

"Copy, we're taking affective fire, the LZ will be hot."

Graves took me firm by my upper arm and leads me away to the side of the rig. I was almost certain that he'd try and throw me overboard but he didn't. Instead we waiting for another rope so we could board the speedboard we came in.

"We should leave her here with Alejandro where it's safe while we go to the ship." Soap said to Graves while we waited by the edge.

"Negative, we're all going to that ship." Graves cuts him off without even giving him a chance to respond.

Graves leads the way and together with Soap, I board the speedboat and we made our way towards the ship to meet up with Ghost and charlie team. Immediately when we arrived they started shooting at us. In a quick movement I was pulled behind one of the containers. The deck was filled with containers which moved a lot thanks to the waves.

"Ashley stay here. Don't move until it's safe and I come back to get you understand?" Soap said, he waiting for my answer before he left again.

"Understood." I mumbled. With a blink of the eye, Soap was already out of sight and I was left alone.

Soap joins graves and the rest of the team and they push up to the other side of the ship. At the top of the ship a container opens and everyone could see it had the missile in it. They move up towards it, shooting any enemy's in their path.

Like I was told, I stayed behind the container and waited for Soap to come back. Everytime I heard something of someone coming closer, I could feel my heart beating in my throat and the nerves take over. What if it wasn't Soap that came but the enemy, I had to find something to fight with, or at least so I could create a distraction which would give me enough time to run.

I kept looking but I couldn't find anything to use which only made my hands shake with nerves. After what felt like hours, I started to worry so I peaked my head over the top of the crate to see what was going on. I heard a gunshot and before I knew it, I got pulled back behind the cover while almost falling flat on my ass.
